Jennifer Lopez in The Cell (2000)

FAQ

The Cell

FAQ

Prior to its US cinematical release the movie got cut to receive a R-rating. Several scenes showing Vincent D'Onofrio dangling from numerous chains and masturbating on his already dead victim were cut. Those scenes were included in the European versions of this movie and can be found on the DVD releases in Germany or Britain as well. The US blu-ray happens to contain the director's cut of the film, despite not being labeled as such on the packaging and the R-rating listed on the back. The runtime is listed as 109 (the length of the director's cut) which marks the first time the film has been released uncut in the US.
