Directed by CalArts graduate Minyun Lee (responsible for character design on Winnie The Pooh and Wreck-It Ralph), and with the help of other artists who also work at Disney, Dreamworks and Pixar; Adam and Dog is a beautifully animated 2D tale about the dog of Eden and what happened in those first days of Creation that made Man and Dog so inseparable. If there is one film that can beat the ultra popular Paperman, it is this one, especially considering it won the 2012 Annie award for animated short subject. Minkyu Lee published this Oscar nominated short animated film on YouTube a week ago, and it quickly collected over half a million views. For a film that features no dialogue, Adam and Dog speaks volumes.

Case solved. I have Costello’s Shih Tzu.
The La Brea Tar Pits of Southern California are a long way from St. Louis, Mo. You can imagine my surprise when Bonny arrived on the front porch in a little pet carrier. This girl has seen better times – and on the Red Carpet! The canine star of CBS Films’ Seven Psychopaths attended the film’s Midnight Madness screening at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Costello’s “I Need Your Help Please” plea fell on deaf ears once my pups, Dutch and Sally, saw there was a new pooch on the scene and gave Bonny the once-over sniff. I tried telling them she was not a chew toy.
Rest assured Charlie Costello – Bonny will be here. *Cough* Stockholm Syndrome *Cough*. Waiting and resting comfortably. Guess the Man and Dog massages you mentioned over on Twitter for Columbus Day will just have to wait.

When I was young, my mom took our dog, Major, out for a walk in the snow. When she returned to the house, she was carrying Major. He was an English Springer Spaniel, which is a medium sized dog-not easy to carry. She said that he had suddenly stopped walking and that he must’ve injured his paw. She was really worried about him. She put him down in the kitchen and he pranced off as normal as can be. Basically, my dog Major was a huge pussy and his feet got cold in the snow so he pretended like he couldn’t walk to get a free ride from my mom. What a jerk. In a slight twist on this story, this man and dog seem to have a symbiotic relationship wherein it is understood that the dog shall not walk in the snow, but shall instead perch like...
