Can You Imagine?

Edit
After being closed for 25 years, the privately-owned "ice mine" in Coudersport, Pennsylvania reopened for tourists in 2014.
As of 2021, the tree is still growing on top of the Decatur County Court House clock tower. It was first noted in 1870, ten years after the building was constructed. It is a large-tooth aspen, which is also known as a white poplar or Canadian poplar tree.
The very short private railroad in Augusta, Arkansas shown in this film was established in 1887 when mainline railroads bypassed the town and river traffic was declining. It went out of business in 1958.
The tradition of the town crier in Provincetown, Massachusetts continued after this film, albeit with some gaps. The latest crier was appointed in April 2021.
The "monkey island" in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was part of the Washington Park Zoo and was built in 1925. The zoo moved to a new location in 1961-62 and the site shown in the film has since been turned into an "urban ecology center".
