    Crap

In 1999 Amitabh was trying hard to comeback after his post 1997 track record of bombings, though BMCM was a hit Govinda got more credit then Bachchan

Btw this film was supposed to be made by ABCL but then VEERU DEVGAN action director and father of Ajay thought to produce and direct it

    The film is hideous

The film is the same India vs Pakistan angle and has some of the crudest forced special effects

Ajay even jumps high with a bike over a bus LOL

The special effects are tedious and look fake

The story is done to death, Amitabh with one hand and the long hideous wig gets boring, God knows why the directors those days were trying hard to make Bachchan look old in films when he was in his 50's can understand playing once age but it should be well done, here it looks crap

The special effects amongst both Devgans is too bad, the screen achieves a glow The climax of the film is nothing special as we know what is going to happen

Direction by Veeru Devgan is bad Music is okay JALWA number stands out

    Special effects are bad

Amongst actors Ajay tries hard to act both the roles, this is his first dual role perhaps he is good as the Paki guy but thatz his trademark and in the other role he is okay Amitabh gets tiring here because his role lacks meat Amongst heroines Sushmita is okay, Manisha(who starred with Ajay in KACHCHE DAAGE too in the same yr) is okay Amongst rest Gulshan Grover does his routine

    Cool Film

So this movie was full of fake and unbelievable effects, yet that was the best part. For those who miss those fake fighting scenes and crazy, dramatic characters, this is one great movie. The part where Ajay Devgan falls out of the plane, or the plane fighting scene is just plain funny because it's so unreal. The effects make this movie stand out more. The plot, however, was a typical one. With tons of boring films on India vs. Pakistan, this just added to the list. The actors were good, but the dialogue was too dramatic. Despite the negatives, the movie has some flavor and is worth the watch for those who miss the old typical 90s movies and their effects.

If your watching this movie, it is probably because your being forced to.

This was an utterly crappy movie. For what reason Amitabh Bachchan chose to star in this piece is beyond my thinking. The movie deals with the Indian/Pakistan situation. The reason this movie is crappy is because it is simply told from the Indian point of view. Plus, the basic plot is simply horrible. Twin brothers separated at birth, one grows up in Pakistan and one grows up in India. I simply cannot go on about this horrible movie, it is that bad.

    Between OK and bad

The starting portions of this movie can be misleading as it starts off rather well. The scene where the guy jumps of a plane and does all sorts of stuff in the air actually looks realistic beyond belief! I've really have'nt seen such a realistic scene in an Indian film and it looks well beyond any blue screen effort.

Unfortunately the movie quick degrades after that with crappy acting and crappy plot. Some corrupt general in Pakistan wants to assassinate the PM and our heroes have to save him and the day. No one likes an Indo-Pak peace movie, especially a cheap, cheesy and ridiculous movie like this. Its bad enough that with two brothers growing up on two different countries, one has to equate an elephant with a cockroach but does it really had to be this badly done?

    interesting plot badly directed

It has a good story but was poorly told. though it has amitabh n ajay, n 2 beauty queens manisha n sush. everything went wrong with the direction n screenplay.

but u know what this is the first film where we see a bollywood hero skydiving. Ajay is the first bolly hero to do it on screen in Indian cinema. Thats the only achievement this film has got. I guess thats what happens when an action director directs the whole mov for the first time in his lifetime. An other movie on India and Pakistan cross border relations, our film makers are much better than the politicians who are trying to keep up the spirit of patriotism alive through their movies. Good movie or a bad movie thats fine but I appreciate the film makers intentions. Thank You

    • Trivia
The action scenes in the air was done in America by Hollywood Technicians, the initial Sky Diving sequences with Ajay Devgan took many weeks of training, as there wasn't any such facility or technology in India, the actual training was done in 14,000 feet in the sky, Ajay Jumped out of the Helicopter followed by the cameraman who had a helmet camera weighing 20/25kg shooting the action shot. The climax scene where Ajay Devgan has to land on a helicopter from his own helicopter required equally rigorous training.
