This parody of golf instructional tapes is a classic. Leslie Nielsen is back, this time with funny man Archie Hahn (famous for being attacked in "Gremlins 2: The New Batch".) Nielsen's idea to "play bad golf but feel good" is perfect. All the antics shown in this film are dead-on, hidden truths that we as golfers can surely laugh at. Some of these crazy things may even work on a golf course!
Also, the "Behind-the-scenes/Making of" at the end of the tape was ahead of its time. Now a common thing on DVDs, this VHS version had "extras" on it. These extras are great and show some great stuff.
The only two downsides are: 1. No laugh track. When the jokes are made, silence follows.
2. Archie Hahn is great but clearly over-acts in a few situations and comes off as a little annoying.
Whether you just hit the driving range or play the course, any golfer can find humor in this! Snappy production with slapstick humor makes this great.

Seriously, if you golf, this movie is Hillarious!!
Leslie Nielson uses this video as a parody of regular golfing videos; basically if you DO actually golf then I reccomend this as a lighthearted and very amusing look at the sport, along with some new techniques (i.e. the "handwedge").
If you do not golf, or do not really know/follow the actual rules of it, then this movie really wouldn't make sense or be funny really.
If you golf, Get this. It's great!

The sad thing about 'Leslie Nielsens Bad Golf Made Easier' is that it had such enormous potential to be a silly, goofy, fun golfing video. Instead it is none of these. I bought it second hand for two dollars at a pawn shop, watched it once, then immediately gave it to someone else, who I assumed gave it to someone else, and so on until it was thrown into the trash. The behind the scenes feature at the end seemed more like an extended commercial, as did the actual video. Nielsen is never funny for a second, unusual considering his ample talent, and the entire video is a waste of time.
Well, this is not just another Nielsen-comedy-trash, it's more. I don't precisely like golf, but after this extremely movie experience I've been looking this heroic sport a little bit differently.
Mr. Nielsen is some kind of golf-prophet who teach hopeless golfers to "play bad golf, but feel good". In this revolutionary theory everything is more than possible and you can forget your handicap.
This movie is a brilliant overview from the dark side of the golf.
