This is the only film in the Fantozzi film series in which the accountant Filini never appears, due to actor Gigi Reder's premature death in 1998. This movie is dedicated to his memory.
It is the tenth and final chapter of the film series of the character of Fantozzi.
Only movie of the series in which the character of Mariangela Fantozzi doesn't appear. On the contrary, nephew Uga Fantozzi appears, but played by Dodi Conti instead of Maria Cristina Maccà, who replaced Plinio Fernando in Fantozzi - Il ritorno (1996).
The insuccess of the movie led to abandon plans of continuing the series of Fantozzi, 24 years after the first movie Fantozzi (1975).
The company "Megaditta" is here set at the seat of telecommunication company Eutelia (as of 2020 Clouditalia Telecomunicazioni) in Rome. The Galactic Megadirector Duke-Count Balabam (Paolo Paoloni) appears again beside his son Adalberto Maria (Claudio Ricci).
