This was one kinky little movie. "Secret Needs" has it all....deceit, betrayal, backstabbing, sex, fetishes, sex, mate-swapping, and even more sex.
It starts out with Harry (Nicholas Yff) and his wife, Lisa Ann (Erin Marie, of the two first-names variety). Lisa Ann is a hot-headed neat-freak, but she's also a freak somewhere else too--in the sack. As the movie begins, she says, "Honey, you know I don't like doing it with the lights on." Yeah, like she's so prudish.
A few minutes goes by, and Harry is taking a drive. He crashes into the car of a woman, Jessica (Lisa Comshaw, a veteran of these types of flicks). Jessica and Harry have some coffee a moment later, exchanging insurance information. Jessica slips Harry a card with an address on it. Married-guy Harry doesn't think twice about throwing it away.....but he still doesn't. He goes to the address and finds out that Jessica makes a living as a dominatrix/hooker/call girl combination. He's so turned on the first time he goes there that he and Jessica begin a passion-filled affair. Harry tries his best to keep Jessica and his wife separate, but fails miserably.
Bill and Kiki, Harry and Lisa Ann's friends and next-door neighbors, contribute two great scenes to the movie. The first is when they have sex on a pool table--great scene. The second is when they come over for a little get-together with Harry and Lisa. Lisa Ann, who by this point in the movie has lost all her prudish characteristics, tell Bill and Kiki to come over for a little mate-swapping. Harry doesn't know this, however, since he's been out getting laid by Jessica. He shows up for what he thinks is a little harmless dinner-and-chat afterwards, but as soon as the conversation turns to sex, he gets jumpy. He reluctantly gets it on with Kiki, but not after Lisa Ann practically threw herself at a very willing Bill and had gone upstairs already.
Eventually the mistress and the wife will cross paths, which upsets both parties. Up until this point, the story and the characters were quite good, but then the plot heads south and never really recovers. The final two scenes are quite strange in that they're inconsistent with what had happened to the characters the whole movie. Those scenes notwithstanding, "Secret Needs" is a pretty good film.
Women: A- (Lisa Comshaw is a decent woman, but Erin Marie and Heidi France brought most of the goods)
Sex: A- (Most of the scenes were quite good, especially the mate-swapping scenes)
Story: B (Started off good, but went south for the final third of the film)
Overall: B+ (Better than most skin flicks, but needed a stronger ending.)
