In one scene, the 1997 film, Breeders, is playing on a tv. This was also written and directed by Paul Matthews, which was also riffed on RiffTrax by Mary Jo Pehl and Bridget Jones Nelson (both alumni of the cult tv show, Mystery Science Theater 3000), under the alternate title, Deadly Instincts.
