    shockumentary?

I will say it again. if you are hunting OOP's or rare items first visit sell outs or flea markets. This movie is only available on VHS even as it was once released on DVD but to find a copy you will have to search real hard. I did and found it, again, at a sell out of a video store. Dutch subs available. As we see in the beginning it was so called filmed in a documentary style. It is how some cops are doing their illegal work. Only at the end, after 80 minutes, you see that a director and actors were involved. But you could guess that after a few seconds into the movie. It is all filmed on ultra low budget, so no effects are used. Again, no gore is involved I can even say that just one scene contains blood but it has been blurred...It is funny to see what could happen when a cop goes nuts but 80 minutes is way too long. Because it's all talking and almost no action it bores after a while. There is also a bit of nudity in it but overall if you could catch a copy just watch it for what's it worth. Don't think you will see horror or brutality, it's just fun.

I have to review one of his other flicks,

Yes, the title says it all. In fact I won't review Bizarre Lust Of A Sexual Deviant but the so-called sequel to that flick, Chlororformed Too: They Made Her Sleep. Haven't seen BLOASD I can't say if it was bad but the sequel is utterly bad.

The sequel to BLOASD, Chlororformed Too:They Made Her Sleep explores a strange fetish through a thriller storyline. Three women discover that their boss is cheating on his taxes, and decide to blackmail him. They break into his house to search for evidence, little aware that the boss and his strange associate are waiting for them. One-by-one, the duo assaults each woman, using chloroform to knock her out and molest her, taking pictures the whole time. And that's it. The whole flick goes on and on of taking pictures of the three women. There isn't really anything to see, some do show a bit of a tittie but they were in fact not what we would call beauties. The taking of the pictures goes on and on and nothing else happens until the final 2 minutes were suddenly out of the blue a white haired beauty lays full frontal before the camera. A plot-hole because nothing is explained were she did came from.

Due being a turkey and just was available back then on VHS and is now OOP it is very difficult to find a copy. It do goes around in the era of ultra bad movie collectors because Tim Ritter was involved as an executive producer. Ritter is known for directing bad flicks himself maybe the most known Dirty Cop No Donut (1999).

Why I have put my review here is because this flick isn't anywhere to find on film databases. Not even on IMDb! There are more flicks out about Chloroforming girls, it's a weird kind of business and for some even a fetish. None of the actors are known for me although the acting was really bad...

    Solid exploitation-style rampage effort

Committed to upholding the law, a police officer with a deluded sense of entitlement about the position embarks on a reign of terror in the community trying to use his misguided sense of justice to carry out the peace in his night-long rampage of the citizens.

For the most part, this was quite the goofy cheesefest. One of the greatest examples of that is the fake documentary approach that follows the titular officer around on his various activities. There's a fine sense of over-the-top glee exhibited by the way this handles the extreme actions here, from the harassment of the drug lord in his house as he forces him into a drug overdose for his own amusement to just walking around a convenience store doing whatever he wants and then the destruction of the merchandise at a pawn shop which really showcases his abuse of power the finest. With the approach in the filmmaking style with it being a mockumentary of the popular TV series at the time, this gives the film a fine anthology style where it takes numerous brief segments together that tell a whole story. This allows for various bits of him going around on the various calls taking everything into his own hands which all tends to go against the expected behavior of a police officer. While he initially uses every situation to do legitimate police-work, the fact that his deluded behavior and continuous crude antics that go against everything else that cops are expected to perform create a sense of fun here with his picking up a hooker or crashing and then joining in on a loud house-party with a drug of drugs around the table offers up the finest example of those scenarios. These here are what make this one fun as it does have a few minor flaws. The main problem with this one is the fact that there's just so much jerking around in the storyline here that it's oftentimes hard to keep track of what's going on. The jerking faux documentary-style camerawork doesn't really help, but the fact that this one tends to get lost in a sea of him throwing his weight around to do anything he wants in the situation causes the film to get lost in the sea of deviant behavior. As well, that can cause the film to become way too dragged out at times with the way this appears to become a series of random encounters that point to the same general tone of his deviant behavior driving the film forward which all makes for a rather troublesome time. Coupled with the low-budget on-the-streets feel that might rub some the wrong way, these here are what hold this one down somewhat.

Rated Unrated/R: Extreme Graphic Language, Graphic Violence, Brief Nudity, continuous drug use and deviant behavior.

Tim Ritter's best since the first "Truth or Dare?"

As far as satires go, this take-off of "Cops" works extremely well...as long as you get past the opening scene including amateur actors and a newspaper machine. The catch: The officer being videotaped is crazier than the criminals he terrorizes.

Joel D. Wynkoop, of "Creep" and "Lost Faith" fame, gives an intense performance as Officer Friendly, or as the original title called his character, the "Low down dirty cop". Gore fanatics will appreciate Ritter's sense of humor...especially one scene including a sex offender and his most prized possession. There are other standout performances as well; the domestic dispute is quite believable and the cocaine dealer gives a great Clint Eastwood tough-guy routine (complete with a cigarette clinched between his teeth).

OVERALL: Tim Ritter's best since his first major production, "Truth or Dare? A Critical Madness". If you like horror, smut and "shockumentaries", then this is for you. See it for Wynkoop's grizzled performance and the closing credits. They're a hoot. 10 out of 10 - Great "no budget" fair.

The Ritter Masterpiece... or possibly the Wynkoop audition for Reno 911

There's just something about cop humor. Anything from The Andy Griffith Show to Super Troopers cracks me up every time, but, Mr. Joel D. Wynkoop, you, sir, are the man. For many years now, the antics of the Legendary Asbestos Felt had me convinced that Killing Spree was Tim Ritter's masterpiece, that is, until I recently purchased the new Special Edition DVD Of Dirty Cop No Donut. I love it. This is mean-spirited humor at its finest.

Gus Kimble is not a patient man, Gus Kimble isn't even a decent man. Somehow this guy ended up with a badge, and a gun, so people have to listen to him, right? Damn right!! Officer Gus Kimble, aka Officer Friendily is not in a good mood tonight (and probably never is), despite the fact that he's on a rather large amount of cocaine, after "busting" a drug dealer. On this night, you might want to stay out of trouble, because this guy can, and will abuse his power when ever and where ever the hell he wants, because he's the law!!

Tonight, Officer Friendily is bringing along a camera man, so he can, once and for all, show the world the dangers and difficulties of his chosen profession. Officer Friendily, above all, prides himself in being a good cop, which, obviously means he never, ever has to pay for food, or hookers, or any damn thing for that matter. Officer Friendily prefers to avoid all that boring paper work, but would rather dish out any necessary punishment the old fashion way, like roughing up drunk (female) drivers, tearing apart pawn shops for seemingly no reason, or even forcing a rapist to castrate himself at gunpoint. Whatever it takes to keep the streets safe, it's all for the greater good, right?

    Wrong!! Gus Kimble is insane.

This hysterical Mock/Shockumentary is really just a spoof of Cops, which makes the fact that it was shot on video a positive, although, anything created by Tim Ritter is positively awesome, video, or not. Not everyone can just pick up a video camera, create Z-grade, and end up with a suspenseful story, an interesting script, and most of all, honest-to-God Quality. I'm convinced Tim Ritter is Florida's most talented independent filmmaker, and I hope he makes more movies. I've always found Wynkoop to be entertaining, but after witnessing his performance in Dirty Cop, I now automatically laugh whenever I see him in anything, if that's not a talented actor, then there's just no such thing. The things that come out of this guy's mouth!! You just wouldn't believe it. Wynkoop's persona as "controlling fat man on coked-out rampage" is priceless humor that must be seen to be believed. Wynkoop's endless rantings absolutely had me in tears. Joel really threw himself into this role, and it looks like he had a lot of fun doing it. Nevermind Ed Wood, you, sir, are the Joel D. Wynkoop of acting, which is far more historically significant. In fact, go ahead, Joel, have a donut, you deserve it. Yay for Twisted Illusions!! 10/10

Starts out fun, but the premise gets tiresome.

One would figure watching Joel Wynkoop acting like a cop and being an ass to everyone he comes in contact with would be pretty entertaining, it is at first, but gets tedious and old really fast.
