Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has left its mark on the global anime community like no other anime in recent times. In fact, it’s even hard to find any shortcomings that the series might have, unless you’re a straight-up critic. Now, although the series is already excellent as it is, there’s one thing that the anime could’ve done differently if the author had considered it.
Well, you can’t deny that the Japanese anime we’ve all grown up watching probably has the most diverse array of stories to tell. Throughout the years, it has inspired several other movies and series while maintaining the same level of quality even to this day. But now, if you look into it, you’d notice that we don’t really have a renowned “Treasure Hunt” series to talk about.

At its core, 9-1-1 is a gripping drama that expresses the trials and tribulations of the 118 crew of the Lafd. Each character has their own intimate backstory, giving this series a sense of depth and mystery that not many other procedurals can compete with. As such, while 9-1-1 may be criticized for its sometimes outlandish plotlines and arcs, fans still appreciate the show's dedication to keeping audiences on the very edge of their seats.
Yet, a lot of fans would agree that 9-1-1 is one of the funniest shows on air at the moment. Whether it's the banter between the firefighters or the latest ludicrous case, the show manages to effectively balance humor with over-the-top tension. So, it's fair to say that 9-1-1 works best when it's making fans laugh.

So, “Deal or No Deal Island” is back, and it’s brought some… baggage. Season 2 of NBC’s tropical treasure hunt premieres Tuesday, January 7, and apparently, two hours of contestants scrambling for briefcases just isn’t enough. Because now, we have an aftershow. And not just any aftershow, mind you. It’s hosted by “Boston” Rob Mariano. […]

Hot Wheels are back in the latest video game based on the enduring brand of tiny toy cars: Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem. This is less of a racing game and more of a demolition derby, in which players are rewarded for pulling off death-defying stunts and smashing through the competition in a series of toy-inspired arenas. It's a lot more like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater than it is like Mattel's previous game, Hot Wheels Unleashed, with emphasis on impressive tricks and lengthy combos.
Game modes include a single-player career, head-to-head local multiplayer, crushingly brutal boss battles, and arcade challenges that let players test their skills. Players can also select their favorite Hot Wheels monster trucks from a roster of 20, including Bone Shaker, Big Foot, Rhinomite, and Tiger Shark. 9-1-1 has proven to be one of the most popular drama shows in recent years. 9-1-1 follows the firefighters of Station 118 and related rescue personnel in the LA area, including police and 911 operators, as they save lives and try to manage their own. The Fox TV series recently made the transition to ABC network and has only grown bolder and grander in their rescues and personal antics.
Some of the hallmarks of 9-1-1 are the outrageous yet adrenaline-fueled rescues paired with incredibly endearing and complex characters. The loyal fanbase of the series remained consistent even after a network change for the 7th season of the series. While fans eagerly await a new season, they can find the same traits that made 9-1-1 popular in these 10 series.

TV legend Dick Wolf's latest project is CBS's FBI franchise. Soon after the inception of the original series, the franchise began to expand, with FBI: Most Wanted currently in its fifth season.
FBI: Most Wanted follows the members of the FBI's Fugitive Task Force as they hunt down criminals who have fled justice. The series is incredibly fast-paced and seamlessly blends high-octane action with dramatic and cerebral cases. However, newcomers will find that some episodes stand out more than others in terms of executing this vision.
"Inheritance" Sees the Team Racing to Find a Killer Con Woman Season 3, Episode 21 IMDb Rating 7.7/10
"Inheritance" centers on a young con woman who has turned from grifting to murder to conceal her past. The episode wraps itself in layers that the team must pull away to uncover the identity of the woman they are chasing before more people die.

Players in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart may have a much harder time finding the hidden items and collectibles with all the extra dimension-hopping that takes place in the game. These collectible items are things like Gold Bolts, Spybots, Holocard Packs, Ryno Holocards, and even sticks of Raritanium. To help simplify the search for treasures in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, players can get the Map-o-Matic. While players can still find the collectibles without the Map-o-Matic, adding this item to inventory can significantly cut down on any extra time players might spend wandering.
The only collectibles the Map-o-Matic won't find automatically in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are the secret CraiggerBear collectibles. Sadly, the Map-o-Matic isn't available until late in the game, and players won't be able to access it until they reach Ardolis. However, players can always return to earlier planets after they get the Map-o-Matic to pick up what they missed.

Carroll died Saturday of pneumonia at her home in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, her daughter Kerry Karsian told The Hollywood Reporter.
Carroll’s perky personality, screwball wit and impeccable timing made her a great second banana, and Red Buttons, Jimmy Durante, Mickey Rooney, Steve Allen and Charley Weaver were among those who called upon her to make their programs funnier. Anneka Rice has revealed that she thinks Treasure Hunt should return to TV screens with a new presenter. The 53-year-old starred in the popular game show on Channel 4 between 1982 and 1988. Talking about the show's success in the 1980s, Rice told ITV1's Daybreak: "At the time there was nothing on, TV was grown up, there was nothing spontaneous and mad. "Channel 4 took a big risk, it was totally unscripted, I was an unknown. It was so extraordinarily fresh after years of straight TV. It was so earnest as well, really uncynical." Hey you guys! “The Goonies” recently celebrated their 25th anniversary (read our review of the 25th Anniversarity Collector’s Edition DVD here), so Warner Bros. decided to celebrate the event by holding a “Great Goonies Treasure Hunt” on the WB lot. Out of the 25,000 people that entered the sweepstakes to compete, three were selected to hunt down a $5,000 grand prize. Original castmembers Corey Feldman (“Mouth”), Ke Huy Quan (“Data”), Jeff Cohen (“Chunk”), Lupe Ontiveros (“Rosalita”), Joey Pantoliano (“Francis Fratelli”), Robert Davi (“Jake Fratelli”), and director Richard Donner were present at the shindig. Pencil this in for the weekend. If you’re anywhere in Southern California working in new media or online video it’s worth a trip down to Orange County for the Anaheim International Film Festival. The five-day festival kicked off with an opening night gala on Wednesday at UltraStar Cinemas at Anaheim GardenWalk. Web series creator Canyon Prince, behind comedies First Edition and The Romantic Foibles of Esteban, is one of the producers of the festival and a big reason for this year’s heavy push into new media at the fest. Emerging independent films are the mainstay of the festival, but Prince was able to program a lineup that’s refreshingly more than a passing nod to the internet’s impact on entertainment. It’s a mix of screenings, panels and even a New Media Market for creators to showcase their works to prospective buyers and distributors. Sunday night...

If there's excess cash lying around in your organization, you could probably use it. And Ge thinks it can help you find it as part of a Treasure Hunt program launched in collaboration with the Environmental Defense Fund (Edf). The aim is to find energy savings at companies, universities, and even in entire cities. The first program, conducted at Roosevelt Hospital as part of New York City's Hospital Challenge, found $2.1 million in energy savings (with a payback period of 2.6 years) that will save 7,500 metric tons of carbon emissions annually.
The process is fairly simple: Treasure Hunt teams (made up of staffers) are trained by Ge experts to survey facilities, looking for energy savings of all sorts--from Hvac systems and lighting to washing machines and computers. Teams use Ge and Gensuite's Eco Prospector tool to help them along the way. Each Treasure Hunt lasts for two days, so that each team can observe equipment during downtime,...
