The film was originally supposed to have four segments instead of three. The fourth one, directed by Tomás Svoboda, was filmed, but was not included because of its excessive length and its slapstick comedy style, which would have been unsuitable for the other three. The contemplated inclusion in another short story film ultimately did not happen, the fourth film was never released and is considered lost.
In 1973, Oldrich Kaiser and Jaroslava Schallerová not only played a couple in this film, but also in Láska (1973).
Milan Orlowski, who played table tennis player in the second segment, was also in reality a successful Czech table tennis player who became a multiple European champion. He's never been in any other movie.
