John Anderton (Tom Cruise) is a former Washington D.C. police officer, now a captain of an elite police force called PreCrime. But, Anderton becomes a hunted man, when the PreCog Agatha (Samantha Morton) predicts that Anderton will kill an unknown man called Leo Crow (Mike Binder) whom Anderton doesn't know and has never heard of and that the crime will take place in 36 hours Hunted by PreCrime officers and United States Department of Justice agent Danny Witwer (Colin Farrell) whom is determined to bring him down. Anderton sets out to find Crow and stop the crime from happening in 36 hours.
