The production schedule has been somewhat unorthodox and unpredictable for viewers. Originally 52 episodes were shot in a batch, then aired on Showcase in 2001 for it's first season. Then, new episodes stopped appearing until 2004, leaving many to think the show was canceled. A new batch of 26 episodes began airing in the fall of 2004. Then no more news about the show was given leading to people thinking, once more, that the show had been canceled. However it was renewed for another season of 26 episodes which aired in 2008.

A bit campy, but a good campy....great show

I started watching the show PARADISE FALLS because of the actors and actresses that I noticed from other shows like MUTANT X and EARTH: FINAL CONFLICT. It is on the HERE-TV network in this city and I was hooked from the first episode(and the guy who plays Michael's butt).

It has the feel of MELROSE PLACE with some magic and thrown in and better dialog. Though it is on a gay and lesbian-based channel, there is nothing stereotypically gay about the show. It has a compelling cast, beautiful women, hot guys(who aren't shy about showing their goods) and stories that can't be shown and haven't been shown on TV in the states.

I would say more......but that would be telling. if you have satellite, check out HERE-TV and watch the show. Trust me there is nothing "gay" about the show-not that gay is bad-anyway, watch it you'll like it....Later.
