Since I watched the first two documentaries in this series, I figured I'd check this one out while I was at work. This one was more difficult because it is a clip show. What is funny there is that it is in the same vein of its predecessors of low budget horror and exploitation films. Brinke Stevens is credited here as the host, but I'd bet she did her voice-over in less than an hour.
This has a subheading in its title of Bloopers, Babes and Blood. We get clips to fulfill all three categories from Robot Ninja, Skinned Alive, Dr. Alien, Deadly Embrace, Murder Weapon, Ghoul School and Nightmare Sisters. What is interesting there is that Stevens appears in the featured films along with Linnea Quigley and Michelle Bauer. I've not seen any of these films, I did add them to my list as more of an intrigue to round out with lower budget efforts.
It is hard to credit the filmmaking. The editing of the clips together is fine. There isn't much budget so the production value is as low as the films the clips are from. I'll still say that there is charm here. I'm glad that it ran for an hour as this was starting to get tedious. Not one I can recommend unless you're into films like the ones featured here. You won't get much here outside of that.
My Rating: 5 out of 10.
