Frasier is a snob. It's a well established aspect of his character that made for some of the best jokes of the original sitcom's 11 seasons. But with the new "Frasier" revival series on Paramount+, something's changed.

Back when the show first debuted in 1993, Frasier's elitism was immediately played up as one of his major character flaws, and treated as a source of unending comedy. Musician J. Geils, best known for founding The J. Geils Band, was found dead in his home in Groton, Massachusetts, on Tuesday. He was 71.

The Groton Police Department released a statement to Et confirming the news of the rocker's death. Officers performing a well-being check on the artist located Geils, who was unresponsive and was later declared dead on the scene.

Authorities reported that their "preliminary investigation indicates that Geils died of natural causes." Police are investigating, however foul play is not suspected.

Captain James Tiberius Kirk and his USS Enterprise crew were always armed with their “communicators” when traveling abroad on a distant planet. With the release of yet another terrible Adam Sandler movie in Grown Ups 2 (you can read my review here) it would be easy to stick the knife in and trot out every awful movie the much-criticised comic actor has ever made. The 40-year-old rapper teased "Symphony in H" this week with a 1:30 minute clip. The track is Em at his finest -- quick and harsh, over a catchy beat. "Love stinks, that explains all this anger that's spilling out, and I ain't chilling out / Got an Oscar, but I'm still a grouch," Eminem raps in "Symphony in H." Take a listen to the teaser above.

The song reportedly first leaked on DJ Tony Touch's Sirius radio show. "Symphony in H" will make its full debut on Touch's upcoming mixtape, "The Piece Maker 3: Return Of The 50 Mc's," hitting stores July 9.

Marshall Mathers, who is expected to release his own album later this year, took to Twitter to publicize the track.

Jason Bateman, who has his latest comedy The Change Up, hitting theaters today, has had a career resurgence based on his hilarious comedic performances. Few young folks would remember him from the sequel Teen Wolf Too, where he replaced Michael J. Fox. Now he and Jimmy Fallon on ‘Late Night’ decided to recreate a scene with Fallon from the film. Wednesday night's "American Idol" was supposed to be all about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But leave it to Jimmy Iovine's sleepwalking producers and Nigel Lythgoe's showbiz pizzazz to make it rock softer than an Air Supply acoustic album.

That's not to say the top nine of "American Idol X: Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain" didn't give it their all and then some. This may go down as the sweatiest "Idol" episode ever. Did Idolland's air conditioning break, or is there a fire within these contestants causing them to look like James Brown on Pcp?

As an added challenge this week, producers handicapped the girls by forcing them to wear Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. collection of leopard-print diapers and silk tube-top jumpsuits. I guess they really don't want the Season 10 "Idol" to have a vagina. Paging Gloria Steinem!

There's always a weird balance with shows on "Glee" that don't feature Sue Sylvester. I find myself walking away not realizing I missed her or writhing in agony from the loss. Generally, the latter happens when it's a Will Schuester centric episode, but last night I got the former. I suppose they've done enough with Sue's "Love stinks" mentality and decided to forgo her contribution for this episode. Although, to be honest, I'd have love to seen how one spends Valentine's Day when one is one's own spouse.

But without Sue, this episode of "Glee" flourished. Love was in the air with the kids at McKinley and Dalton. Bigfoot executives promoting the dual-language films at AFM said the Cebu, Philippines-based company is now looking for two casts, one Chinese-speaking, one English-speaking, for a remake of Jeff Franklin's 1999 cult classic comedy Love Stinks.

Love will start shooting in early 2007 at the fledgling production center in Cebu and will be directed by Bigfoot chairman and German Internet entrepreneur Michael Gleissner.

Bigfoot CEO Kacy Andrews said both casts would gather at Cebu and share wardrobes and shoot scenes back-to-back in the films' two languages. Crews will make efficient use of lighting and sets this way, Andrews said.

"We are an international company especially interested in Asia and betting on China's growing audience in particular," Los Angeles-based Andrews said. "Doing dual-language productions is a natural. One cast shoots, then steps out, then the another steps in to do it in the second language."...

New Line Cinema has picked up the romantic comedy spec It's Not Unusual from veteran television writer-producer Jeff Franklin for mid-six figures. Described as an offbeat and poignant coming-of-age romantic comedy, Unusual is set in 1969 and centers on a high school boy who falls madly in love with his beautiful housekeeper. The project will be produced by Franklin and Bill Strauss through his Billy Goat Prods. label. It will be overseen at the studio by New Line production execs Mark Kaufman, Matt Moore, Janis Chaskin and Luke Ryan. Franklin, whose big-screen writing credits include Summer School and Love Stinks, is best known for the string of small-screen successes he has had as a writer and producer. He was showrunner for the long-running ABC sitcom Full House and created the ABC series Hangin' With Mr. Cooper. Franklin's deal was brokered by attorney Mark Bisgeier. Attorney Phillip Rosen repped Strauss.
