Kamen Rider Kuuga is a great series for young adults, which I actually really do enjoy and find it hard for children to enjoy despite Kamen Rider being designed to sell toys, just with Power Rangers. I sometimes find Kamen Rider better then Power Rangers because of the more-mature tone, which works for young adults. The entire series is more into the horror-genre, where it is like an PG-13 movie that you are watching, which with the characters mostly Ichigo being the best out of them.
For some reason; I feel the series is somewhat more focus on Ichigo rather Godai, since he is the main lead since he is the Kamen Rider Kuuga, while Ichigo is the sidekick, (Which he is more than the sidekick, which makes him into the main lead). The villains are good also. Although the main villain is confusing despite all of that the series is good!

Kamen Rider Kuuga encapsulates everything good about toku by challenging its tropes to a more grounded, bleak, yet hopeful world. There's really nothing like it since, a satisfying form-change gimmick, strong portrayal of violence, and most of all a realistic setting made it stand out from any season.
There's a lot to be said about how this season manages to work with its flaws by outweighing it with the overall writing that it just immerses me into episodes, if this had a major fault it would be if I watched this during its release and I have to impatiently wait for the next episode for a week! I just couldn't imagine it.
If you want a slow burn of a J-drama with the action and stakes that come along with it- this is the perfect season for just that.

When I first started watching it, I didn't know what to think. I started watching it while I was watching Faiz around the 38th episode I think, I took me awhile to get into the show. I think the pacing is bad but the story is pretty good which is why I rate it a 9. The characters are likable, I especially like the bond between Yusuke and Ichijo. Overall, I think Kuuga is a good show, it's defiantly worth watching till the end
First Heisei era rider, and first modern yet grim storyline. First timer to kamen rider should watch this one. It's great build of form and the story itself very supportive to the development of Kuuga along the way.
