Bol Radha Bol (1992)

Trivia

Bol Radha Bol

Edit
This movie has a lot in common with "Deewana", which was released a week later. Both were blockbusters at the box office. They both star Rishi Kapoor and in both his mother is played by Sushma Seth. Other actors who also appeared in both movies include Alok Nath and Mohnish Bahl. In both movies Bahl plays the evil son of a trusted employee of the hero's family. Also in both movies when Bahl's evil deeds are caught, his evil father pretends to kick him out of the house, all the while claiming that his son's actions have tarnished his years of service and loyalty. Also in both movies a character (Rishi Kapoor in "Deewana" and Sushma Seth in "Bol Radha Bol") is presumed to be dead, only to appear alive and well near the end.
"Tu tu tu tu tu Tara..." (from Bol Radha Bol) was copied from the song "Rakhama kaiya thattu.." aka "Arrey Jaaneman Aaja Aaja"in the tamil /hindi movie "Thalapathy" (Dalapati).(music by Ilayaraja.
Vinod Khanna movie Qaid and Bol Radha Bol were remakes of The Man With My Face .
After the first successful film of David Dhawan, Shola Aur Shabnam, in the same year his another successful film was released, Bol Radha Bol.
After the flopping of Radha Ka Sangam,Juhi swore she would never play a "Radha" in a film again. Then Bol Radha Bol released and shocked everyone by becoming a super hit .
