I want to make you aware of something that isn’t going to be for all of our readers though I think more of you out there will find this an interesting grab despite its contents. Mill Creek has been sending us some excellent Halloween treats available at some very reasonable prices perfect for a variety of tastes and age groups. As you may know I have a gruesome twosome of little ones at home. Let’s just say that I don’t shy away from showing them some spooky offerings especially around Halloween. My little girls, aged eleven months and eight years old, love TV, and I am making it my duty to get them into the Halloween spirit and darker cartoons and age appropriate horror. For those of you who want to get on my ass about “too much TV” for kids, I am the product of my TV; shove it.

POSITANO, Italy -- California's DIC Entertainment and Italian studio Enarmonia were presented with studio of the year awards Saturday at the 10th Cartoons on the Bay Festival, while the Italian premier of the blockbuster animated film Ice Age 2 was greeted with rousing applause from those on hand and it earned praise from Italian critics. DIC, which is one of only a handful of studios at this year's Cartoons on the Bay festival that was also on hand for the first edition of the event in 1997, also said that its new lineup of programs to debut in September on CBS will be for 26 30-minute episodes, rather than 13 as in past years. The three-hour "Saturday Morning Secret Slumber Party" lineup, which is aimed at kids aged 6 to 12, is set to debut Sept. 16. It will feature three new series: Horseland, Kooky Kitchen, and Littlest Pet Shop, along with new programming for existing series Sabrina: The Animated Series, Trollz, and Madeline.
