Everyone involved with this series absolutely hated it. Its theme song included the lyrics, "Now Pinky and the Brain share a new domain. It's what the network wants, why bother to complain?", referring to executive meddling. An image during this part of the theme song showed Pinky and the Brain getting kicked out of the Warner Bros. office while Elmyra Duff watches this happen during these lyrics. In addition, a spoken line by the Brain towards the end of the theme song states, "I deeply resent this."
This was Steven Spielberg's last collaborative effort with Warner Bros. Animation until 2020 with the Animaniacs reboot series on Hulu.
Elmyra Duff, like her predecessor Elmer Fudd, is actually bald. Her hair is a wig.
Unlike Tiny Toon Adventures (1990), Animaniacs (1993) and Minus et Cortex (1995), all three of them being TV series that became iconic and well-loved by people in the 1990s, this TV series did not last very long and was not well received at all by anyone and everyone.
Elmyra's last name, "Duff", is simply "Fudd" spelled backwards.
