Matthew Fox is on a revenge mission in Billy Smoke
Matthew Fox is to star in the Warner Bros assassin thriller Billy Smoke, based on the upcoming Oni Press comic book.

Jeffrey Nachmanoff, who directed and co-wrote this year's crime drama Traitor, is to helm the adaptation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The story centres on an elite hitman who is nearly killed in a botched job. He decides his only way to find redemption is to rid the world of all contract killers.

The comic book series, written by B. Clay Moore and illustrated by Eric Kim, will be published by Oni this year.

Fox, 42, rose to fame as Jack Shephard on hit TV series Lost. His film credits include We Are Marshall, Vantage Point and Speed Racer.

Nachmanoff wrote 2004's The Day After Tomorrow and previously directed the comedy Hollywood Palms in 2001. He also worked on early scripts for video game adaptation Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,...

"Disaster Movie" lives up to its title. "Thunder" tops for third weekend
Oh yes folks it's that time...time to rag on the ragger. Time to kick the nutkicker back in the groin as it where. (read our review) Paramount/DreamWorks' "Tropic Thunder" continued its top-dog run with $11.5 million grossed in its third week at play.
