Little One

Actually the Elf, before he was "christened" Blue Toes by Santa, was referred to as Little One. I was a production employee on this short TV production and I can tell you that this was a tremendous challenge to the animators and the paint department. There were several modifications done to the colors and to the animation to minimize the color problems involved in this film. Also keep an eye out for the misplaced Penguin (residents of Antarctica not north pole) and the mischievous Polar Bear. I really liked working on this production and it is a shame that more of us lowly production workers were not mentioned in the credits...I have a few names to submit to IMDb to try and rectify this situation but in the meantime: Florence Bach, our boss, David Bickerton, Carl "Jello" Vallieres, Guy Daw, Mae Clifford, Mitsuko Jones, Charmaine Ladd, and so many more...peace out guys I miss you all and it was a blast working with ya!

A Cute Christmas Classic

WARNING, THE FOLLOWING MAY SPOIL THE MOVIE FOR SOME...........

I remember this movie from way back when i was a child (which actually wasn't that long ago). My mother had taped it on the same tape as that puppet Roudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty The Snow Man, and The Grinch that Stole Christmas. Bluetoes, or atlease what i can remember of it, is a story of an small elf who has no name and no purpose in the sanata world. There is a cute scene where he unleashes a bear on the town, which almost destroys Christmas. After that he hides away in Santa's sleigh, and gets left behind at one of the houses. But at this house, Santa either missed or forgot or something about some kids there, so the 'elf with no name' takes off of his socks and hangs them up over the mantle of the kids fireplace and puts some small toys he had in them. In the morning Santa realized that the elf was missing and went back to look for him. He found the elf sitting on the roof (of some very estatic kids) without any socks on, and his toes had gotten a bad case of frostbite so they were blue. He was a hero back in Christmas Town, and they named him Blue Toes; hence the name of the movie!

I hoped you found my review useful, i would recommend this movie to anyone of any age, thanks :)
