Producer Edmonds puts 'Trust' in indie
Tracey E. Edmonds
Tracey Edmonds is producing "Trust in Her," a feature written by Stelio Savante and Nick Efteriades, for her Our Stories Films shingle.

"Trust" is a multistrand character drama about three men struggling with the women in their lives who cross paths one eventful night in New York.

Savante also will co-star and produce. Our Stories executive Glendon Palmer will co-produce. The Gersh Agency's new financing/packaging division, run by Jay Cohen ("Bride Wars"), will handle the project.

"After reading 'Trust in Her,' it struck me as having the potential to be one of the great 'New York movies,' " Edmonds said. "The city is such an important and vibrant character in the film and provides the perfect backdrop to explore the complex yet universally recognizable issues facing three diverse couples."

Edmonds produced "Soul Food," "Good Luck Chuck" and "New in Town."
