Caroline Goodall flounces about sweet-talking a corpse, spouting medical jargon, and mistakenly believing that the most emotive acting involves staring into people's eyes without blinking, a feat that she is really skilled at. Add to that an unstructured plot that is confused as to whether it is a medical drama, a feminist polemic against men with power, or a hunt for a serial killer, and you end up with a mess!
Don't waste your time on this badly written, badly acted production.

There are three (or is it four?) plots to this short series. One, quite unconnected to the others, is resolved. Are the others? It is difficult to tell. The only suspense comes from guessing which plots will get anywher.

I agree with another reviewer, this is a vehicle for an anti male diatribe. It makes no effort to provide a sympathetic male character. All, including the police, are portrayed as idiots and abusers and even the senior police officer has to kowtow to the demands of the main character. And the women are of course, both strong and intelligent. I'm sorry, but this really was quite a pathetic series.
