The synchronized sound version was restored in 2000 by Walter Murch, Rick Schmidlin, Industrial Light and Magic and Skywalker Sound, which is a division of Lucas Digital, Ltd., LLC (a George Lucas company) in collaboration with the Library of Congress and the Edison National Historic Site.
The film was copied at 24 frames per second from a 35mm print preserved by the Library of Congress. The original sound was restored from the Edison National Historic Site.
One of the films in the three-disc boxed DVD set called "More Treasures from American Film Archives (2004)", compiled by the National Film Preservation Foundation from five American film archives. This film is preserved by the Library of Congress; sound from the Edison National Historic Site.
This film is posted online to the Library of Congress' National Screening Room.
This film was never released commercially.
