Allegra's Window is a fun little show that will forever live on in my heart. It's funny, lighthearted, and captures the magic of childhood, as well as being a personal favourite of mine when I was a toddler. In all honesty, I still have a soft spot for it to this very day. I don't really have a favourite episode or character but I think Allegra is really cute and out of her friends I think I especially like Riff the blue cat for how funny he is. I also find Lindi the yellow dog and Allegra's brother Rondo to be quite enjoyable as well. There's also Mr Cook, his nephew Poco, Allegra and Rondo's parents, Reed, Ms Melody, Ellington, Encora, and three little birds named Woofer, Tweeter, and Aria. Another thing I really like is the intricate set designs, such as the details in the house and yard. All in all, highly recommended for anyone with a preschooler in their lives.
"Allegra's Window" used to air on Nick Jr during the day back in the early-mid 90's. I remember this show very well because back in those days I lived on Nick Jr. shows<3. Basically the show is about a little 3 year old named Allegra and her best friend Lindi (aka her dog) who teach their family and friends about life as a pre-schooler. :) It's really adorable and kids at that age need shows like this, unfortunately they are being dumbed down watching shows from today. If by some miraculous chance there is a tape or DVD out there of "Allegra's Window", and you have a pre-schooler at home.. definitely buy it :)
I have not watched Allegera's window ever since I was a little girl going to head start. I'm 33 years old so this was many years ago for me. I cried real tears when I heard the theme song, because it reminded me of the wonderful childhood I was fortunate to live.
I recently watched the children's show Allegra's Window and have mixed feelings about it. While I appreciate the effort put into creating a show focused on educating young children about music, I found some aspects needing improvement. Overall, I give it a 6 out of 10 stars.
One of the show's strengths is creating lively and engaging characters. The songs are also catchy, making it easy for children to learn and enjoy music. However, some of the episodes were slow and repetitive, which may not attract younger viewers' attention.
Another issue I noticed is the need for more diversity in some of the episodes. Although the show does a decent job of introducing children to music education, it needs to represent different cultures and their musical traditions. It could be a missed opportunity to expose children to a broader range of music and expand their knowledge and appreciation of different cultures.
Overall, while Allegra's Window has its strengths and weaknesses, it's worth a watch if you're interested in introducing your kids to music education. Remember that the show may only hold their attention briefly and needs more diversity in some episodes.

Agreed it ripped off NoobNub and Honda which aired on NHK from 1987 to 1992 which leads to Nickelodeon getting sued by Nintendo for making this show in 1995 which Nintendo forced Nickelodeon to cancel and take it off the air due to an copyright violation by Nintendo. Worst show ever ever existed as hell. I prefer NoobNub and Honda than this.
