Kesha gave a glammed-out performance of T. Rex’s “Children of the Revolution” on The Tonight Show Tuesday night.
Decked out in a long sequined veil, gladiator skirt and silver body paint, Kesha put her own spin on Marc Bolan’s theatrical stage presence with the vocals to match. “Well, you can tear a plane in the falling rain/I drive a Rolls Royce ’cause it’s good for my voice/But you won’t fool the children of the revolution,” the singer belted.

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards are held in 2021, but the eligibility period for these kudos celebrating the best in music actually started on September 1, 2019, ending on August 31, 2020. So who will win Album of the Year?
This eligibility period is new for the Grammys. The recording academy moved up their calendar in 2020 in response to the Oscars, which moved their ceremony up to early February, which was when the Grammys usually aired. So the Grammys shifted their telecast to early January and adopted an eligibility calendar that ended a month earlier.

But that’s not the only change the Grammys have undergone in recent years. For the 61st annual event held in 2019, the academy expanded its top four general field categories from five nominees to eight in part as a response to criticisms over a lack of diversity among the nominees and winners.

Wrabel and Kesha have shared their new music video for “Since I Was Young,” a track off of Wrabel’s upcoming debut LP.
Directed by Michael Kessler, the video works within the confines of quarantine; Wrabel and Kesha strip down — literally and figuratively — in their separate homes, baring all their emotions for the camera.
Wrabel penned “Since I Was Young” in collaboration with Kesha and songwriter Stint, whom he calls two of his favorite collaborators he’s ever worked with. “I’ll never forget the day we wrote [the song],” he says.

As the world fights a pandemic, we reached out to some of our favorite artists with three questions about these unprecedented times. Here’s what Kesha, who released her latest album, High Road, in January, had to share via email.
What are you doing with your unexpected time at home?
I have been unpacking boxes that I literally haven’t seen since “Tik Tok” came out. When Animal first came out, I was living in a house up in Laurel Canyon with about 10 other people, and I left to play a couple of shows,...

New Orleans bounce legend Big Freedia teamed up with Kesha this past October for “Raising Hell,” the lead single from the pop star’s latest album High Road. Now, Kesha is returning the favor, hopping on Freedia’s new rowdy party track “Chasing Rainbows” and appearing in the music video released on Thursday.
Like many Big Freedia songs, “Chasing Rainbows” is all about getting down and dancing, with an added message of equality and self-acceptance. The video shows her and Kesha flying across the globe on rainbows to spread the love.

Kesha released her anticipated new album High Road this past Friday, and she’s now shared a new music video for the title track.
“High Road,” directed and produced by Magic Seed, follows Kesha on grainy VHS film, taking a psychedelic journey through the desert, into an opulent resort and around an abandoned, graffiti-covered castle. “I’m taking the high road, I’m high as fuck/And these assholes, won’t shut up,” she sings over the bass-heavy song, produced by Jeff Bhasker and Skylar Mones.

Kesha did acoustic takes on new singles “Raising Hell” and “Resentment” for Vevo. The singer’s fourth album High Road will be released this Friday.
Kesha stays seated for both performances, flanked by two backup singers and a guitarist. For the raucous “Raising Hell,” she is also joined by a keyboardist as she joyfully belts out the empowering, upbeat song.
The tender country ballad “Resentment” becomes more emotional when stripped down to just vocals and guitar. Big Freedia appears on the original version of “Raising Hell” while Brian Wilson, Sturgill Simpson...
