I have this series which I recorded should anyone be interested in a copy.?
As others have noted, I would love to be able to stream this wonderful series or purchase a dvd. The scenery and acting were strong, and the story compelling. I have always enjoyed Ben Cross' work, and his performance here is equal to his better-known role in Chariots of Fire. He has a strength and dignity that immediately sparks and maintains interest. Given the time period it was depicting, I'm not even certain that it would be terribly dated. Perhaps if enough people chimed it, streaming services would take notice, particularly PBS. We lost a fine actor in 2020, and it would be wonderful if this could be included in re-released retrospective of his work.

I have seen the original movie a number of times, then I stumbled upon this series. Wonderfully done and in great detail. Just think it was 40 years ago, I still think this is a great show.
Ben Cross and Clare Higgins chemistry throughout this series was the best I've seen in a long time. Michael Cochrane was also intriguing and spot on character, as well. Gareth Thomas was excellent as Dr. Denny.
Locations and scenery was well founded, during the time frame was so realistic and interesting.
Does anyone know a streaming service or which company released the DVD set?
I have seen this twice, and am trying to find a copy on DVD.

It has been years since I saw this great series on PBS and don't know why it has not been rebroadcast or made available on streaming video. It would look dated now, but the storyline is so powerful and Ben Cross is fantastic as Dr. Manson as well as Claire Higgins as his wife Christine. Wonderful acing all the way around. Sure would like to see this again.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this series on Masterpiece Theatre.
I wish it were available on DVD.
I would gladly pay for a copy if anyone taped it.
