Cale Oosha, leader of planet Tyrus, learns of a plan to invade America - and Earth. When he refuses, The Dragit stages a coup and tries to kill him. Cale meets an Earth woman, Rita Carter, and together they have a son (David) before Cale returns to Tyrus.

Cale Oosha returns to Tyrus, leaving his wife Rita Carter and son David behind. Meanwhile, Major Stark and Sergeant Romar discover the skeleton of a Mangler in a cave.

After his home is destroyed, David Carter and Rafe escape to Maple Island, where David learns of his Tyrusian heritage. They contact a Tyrusian ship, and begin planning their next steps.

David Carter and Rafe attack the underground base, with the help of a Tyrusian team. General Konrad tries to take matters into his own hands.

While trying to cross the desert on foot, David Carter meets Tyrusian "Doc", and his Mangler "Blue". Major Stark and Sergeant Romar continue searching for David.

David Carter returns to Maple Island, and contacts a Tyrusian ship, which discovers the hidden base on the dark side of Earth's moon. Major Stark and Sergeant Romar catch up with David and find the underground chamber.

David Carter meets up with his friend Jim Bailey, and is captured by the Tyrusian hybrids Simon and Sonia Lear.

David Carter is subjected to a hypnotic device, but later escapes with the help of Sonia Lear. Meanwhile, Major Stark and Sergeant Romar begin to suspect General Gordon.

David Carter contacts Major Stark and Sergeant Romar for help. Together, they try to alert the President about what's really behind all the meteor strikes.

David Carter, Major Stark, and Sergeant Romar head to Camp David to meet with the President. Meanwhile, the meteor strikes continue.

Jim Bailey leaves home to meet up with David Carter, Major Stark, Sergeant Romar, Doc, and Blue. Meanwhile, General Gordon, Major Lomack, and Simon Lear continue to search for David.

The Dragit begins the countdown to the invasion, while the shuttle begins its countdown to launch.

David Carter and his friends head to the Tyrusian base on the dark side of Earth's moon to put a stop to the meteor attacks.
