I do not know what other film coming out this spring has me more excited than Gareth Edwards' Godzilla. And with this new 'Extended Look' popping up, all other contenders are pretenders as far as I am concerned. In this two and half minute trailer, some previous glimpses of story lines from earlier trailers get a little more fleshed out. And there is more harrowing and awesome footage to discover as well. But I am rambling on now. Have a look for yourselves. * Since writing this up, I've also found a 60 second spot titled 'Courage' and a 30 second spot title 'Whatever It Takes'. ...

Step aside, Tobey Marshall — Floyd is the Aaron Paul character that revs me up.
Though the Need for Speed star is more famous these days for Breaking out variations on the word “bitch” and playing the Dice Game on The Price Is Right, in my heart he’ll always be the teenage no-goodnik from 2000′s Whatever It Takes.
Witness Paul in all his millennial, Wolverine-haired glory:
What that promo didn’t make clear is that Floyd was a no-holds-barred weirdo with semi-pyromaniacal tendencies who’s obsessed with causing capital “m” Mayhem like his hero Virgil Doolittle (eventually played by David Koechner). To do so,...

1. Paul auditioned for the role of Francis on "Malcolm in the Middle" (2000), the hit sitcom that starred his future "Breaking Bad" co-star, Bryan Cranston.

Funny story. One time Aaron Paul was overseas and found himself downing tequila shots with Michael Jackson and the prince of Brunei. The Breaking Bad actor recounted the evening with epic detail on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night. Here's the crazy part: Michael Jackson comes off as pretty normal compared to the prince, who insisted Aaron sleep in his bed and made him watch Aaron's film Whatever It Takes. Watch him tell the story now. Front Page Image Source: Getty...

You would think at some point we would stop being stunned at Japanese culture, and yet, here we are. Apparently Attack On Titan has is popular enough to sell a Subaru! Let me reiterate, a show that has naked giants who eat people and zero vehicles in it is being used to sell a car. Whatever it takes to sell cars, I guess! I just think it's cool to see Aot in live action. ...

There are five people you meet in heaven, six types of chemical reactions, seven deadly sins… and eight different ways you may react after seeing Justin Bieber’s toothy mugshot for the very first time. What are they — and what type of person is having each one? Let’s start counting:
1. The delighted schadenfreudester
Bieber’s DUI/drag racing arrest comes as the culmination of months of bad behavior — allegedly egging his Los Angeles neighbor’s house, disrespecting the Argentine flag, spraying graffiti in Brazil, abandoning his pet monkey in Germany, peeing in a mop bucket (and shouting “F— Bill Clinton”) in New York City,...

Gay rights advocacy groups on the right have criticized an advertisement created by the group Out2Enroll which targets gay and lesbian Americans by, they say, appealing to offensive stereotypes. In one video, scantily clad men dance provocatively to an adaptation of a Christmas carol touting the benefits of enrollment in insurance exchanges. “Whatever it takes to get people enrolled,” said Rep. Frank Pallone (D-nj) when asked about the controversy.

Among the most famous of South Park's many famous episodes has to be "Fishsticks," which posited that Kanye West is actually a gay fish. Kanye even blogged about it, in a not-angry way. So the return of Parody Kanye to South Park is something of an event — though Kanye might be more upset about this one, since the show calls his fiancée a hobbit. Like, the whole scene is based around the idea that Kim is secretly a hobbit and her magical power is Photoshop. Kanye goes around defending her in a Zane Lowe–esque manner. Also, there is a "Bound 2" parody, and a bit about the pope being named Time's Person of the Year, which is just impressive turnaround. That happened yesterday.Whatever it takes to get Kanye blogging again.

Since starring in Judd Apatow's short-lived series "Freaks and Geeks" (1999), James Franco has done just about everything.
The 34-year-old renaissance man has an undergraduate degree from UCLA, among other diplomas. He's been nominated for an Academy Award, and even (sort of) hosted the awards in 2011. Professionally, Franco has acted in a long list of movies, directed several others, and even written roughly a dozen plus screenplays.
Starting today, November 27, multi-hyphenate Franco can be seen facing off against Jason Statham in the Sylvester Stallone-penned action flick "Homefront." Franco plays Gator, a small-town meth kingpin who butts heads with Statham, a former DEA agent who shows up in Franco's town to finally settle down with his family.
Do you already know more about Franco than you'd care to? Maybe. Do you know everything there is to know about the man? Unlikely. From his middle-school shoplifting days to that time he shadowed a male prostitute,...

Let's all take a moment to reconsider Death to Smoochy, because as Edward Norton proved last night, he is a damn fine comedian. In his first-ever stint hosting Saturday Night Live, the actor had flawless timing and total commitment to his characters – even the dumb ones, like a mob money-counter who talked like Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man (which was basically Norton re-creating his own performance in The Score). The two-time Oscar nominee delivered some terrifically quotable one-liners: "What would I do for a Klondike bar? I'd suck anything you put in front of me.

Grand Theft Auto V is what it looks like when a suicidal architect builds a skyscraper. The game is beautiful and it is empty. I don’t mean that as an insult. The game might actually be about emptiness; it regards the human condition with less sentimentality than Werner Herzog. I can’t help but recommend Grand Theft Auto V, because I’ve played it for at least fifty hours. It is probably the best-made Grand Theft Auto game ever, and it is also the most soulless, which probably explains why it is so much fun. If this sounds paradoxical,...

The family business is known to get in the way, often, of Reagan family relations.
So it was again as Season 4 of the CBS police drama "Blue Bloods" began Friday (Sept. 27) with "Unwritten Rules." The hour opened as Jamie (Will Estes) got a new patrol partner in Edit "Eddie" Janko ("Pretty Little Liars" alum Vanessa Ray), a new graduate of the police academy.
"You're my first, Reagan," she told him. "Be gentle." It didn't take her long to leap into her new job, though, since a "shots fired" alert sent her scurrying into their car's driver's seat to speed to the scene.
Once they arrived, more shots rang out as they were being briefed on a jewelry-store robbery, and Jamie found a female officer down. While he scanned the area for the shooter, Eddie got a taste of the emotionality she was in for by seeing a photo of the felled officer's husband and daughter.

Krysten Ritter is taking a stand against animal cruelty. In a hot new ad for animal rights organization PETA, the Don't Trust the B----- actress is speaking out in the name of her furry friends. In the ad, Ritter stands next to a car with a busted window after saving a dog named Mikey from the inside of the hot vehicle. Ritter, who looks red hot in a sexy ensemble, holds Mikey in one hand and a crowbar in the other while a shadow of angel wings appears in the background. "Do Whatever It Takes. Chris Brown Stuns In ‘Love More’ Music Video

This little intro actually shows that Chris has a pretty solid sense of humor. All that matters though is that Chris gets to the club, where he can show everyone how it’s done.

Sometime around the mid-nineties, the classic high school-set coming-of-age movie shrugged off its emotional resonance and turned into a genre marked by nonsensical dance scenes (She’s All That), poorly-adapted takes on Shakespeare plays (Get Over It), perfectly-adapted takes on Jane Austen novels (Clueless, and no, I will never apologize for my love for Clueless), cheerleader-driven narratives (Bring It On), and embarrassing outings that even James Franco wants to expunge from his resume (Whatever It Takes). Yet, slowly, the influence of such genre heroes as Cameron Crowe and John Hughes is bubbling back up, and the possibility that the real, sweet, funny, dramatic, and honest high school film isn’t dead just yet seems stronger than ever. As someone who grew up on a steady, TBS-fed diet of Crowe and Hughes films, the resurrection of the great coming-of-age production is music (Peter Gabriel, naturally) to my ears. A recent example of the rise of the emotionally rich...

After sticking her head in the sand for weeks now, Riley is finally beginning to realized the danger and peril she’s in on "Whatever It Takes."
Sadly, even armed with information about potential stings, Riley is still mostly passive in everything she’s doing at The Rub. There’s something inside her that still isn’t fully accepting of the consequences of what she’s gotten herself into - and instead of taking Georgia’s advice to keep clean and stay quiet she’s doing the exact opposite.
Even in happy-go-lucky, sugar and rainbows Riley Land... that is completely stupid.
Riley assumes she can hide behind the list. In theory, the list gives her leverage to keep everyone quiet, but when nothing is quiet and everything is out in the open the list doesn’t give her any protection – only more people to prosecute. This is all assuming Riley even has the list,...

The National Association of Latino Independent Producers (Nalip) is ramping up for its 14th Annual Conference this weekend and to my great gusto, the discourse promises to be more specific, relevant and fresh than last year on how to empower Latino independent storytellers. Judging by the practical and forward-thinking panel discussions, Nalip’s YouTube channel premiering a curated selection of upcoming films, and the hip, savvy talent invited to represent, Nalip is setting the tone for discovery and healthy debate. Chief among the themes will be a contextualized creative response to the much-propagated Latino trillion dollar purchasing power statistic, and how to strategically seize territorial claim to the wild wild west expansion of online distribution platforms.
Among the established and rising American Latino actors and filmmakers on tap are Richard Montoya, Cristina Ibarra, Aurora Guerrero, Gina Rodriguez, Danny Trejo, Jeremy Ray Valdez, and Jesse Garcia. The keynote speech on Friday will be given by none other than Richard Peña, one of the most influential film curators in the world who headed the prestigious Film Society of Lincoln Center for twenty-five years. It will be an insightful and thoughtful conversation moderated by the sensitive, master documentarian and MacArthur Genius Grant fellow, Natalia Almada. As this year’s Nalip Conference Co-Chair, Almada helped inform the direction of the conference and scored Peña’s participation. When talking about how each year’s conference organically takes shape with the feedback of board members, staff and hosting committee, Beni Matias, Acting Executive Director of Nalip, referenced Natalia’s concern of prominently featuring the voice of the independent filmmaker over the commercial as a guiding pursuit.
Natalia’s involvement with Nalip goes back to 2003 when she became the recipient of the Estela Award, given in recognition to an emerging filmmaker who has ‘arrived’. Her revelatory documentaries include El Velador, El General and Al Otro Lado – all which have been critically acclaimed worldwide and have been featured in museums and screened at film festivals including Sundance and Director’s Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival. I asked her to share a few words about Nalip’s import and she replied over email, “I think that more than anything else the conference is a place where we can really exchange ideas, address shared concerns in our community and collectively fuel to keep going”.
Natalia is part of the sub-cine filmmaking crew who came of age through Nalip like Cristina Ibarra, Alex Rivera and Bernardo Ruiz. In fourteen years the organization has managed to be one of the few consistent Latino forums that has nurtured a family of artists/active organizers. Along with Beni Matias, Maria Agui Carter, who is a filmmaker and the Chair of the Board of Directors, has been actively with Nalip since the beginning. Other members who have continued with the organization since the beginning include Louis Perego Moreno who use to spearhead chapter leadership meetings, Jimmy Mendiola filmmaker and Director of CineFestival in San Antonio, Frank Gonzalez from Disney/ABC, Kim Meyers and Terri Lopez at WGA, Alex Nogales, to name just a few. Nalip has also enjoyed a sustained relationship with Time Warner and HBO who have taken turns at being the presenting partners of the conference since 2000.
Part of the reason I’m so eager to engage with and synthesize this year’s theme is this following text written by Maria Agui Carter to describe the Opening Plenary:
“Forbes magazine has called the Latino Market the “New Media Jackpot.” What is at stake? Why is every network and cable outlet now chasing the Latino market and how are Latino voices participating in this explosion not just as consumers but as creators?
There it is: “But as creators”. Amid all the hoopla over the rising Latino market data that makes corporations and brands salivate at the mouth over how to exploit us as consumers, nobody has thought about reckoning a counter creative force. We should be imagining how to harness, demand and unleash our creative power with that kind of purchasing power. Otherwise, the data simply makes us a target of a branding attack towards the depletion of our capital power and identity.
A programming change for this year and aimed to provide a more significant showcase for upcoming Latino films, Nalip is spotlighting brand new films on their Nalip YouTube channel. They’ve done away with the NALIPsters On View programming where members could openly screen their work during the conference. Those screening rooms tended to be lightly attended since there was little visibility and competition from the panel programming. Instead, this year Nalip will be premiering trailers of upcoming films to build buzz around them. The curated selection of fifteen new documentaries, narrative features and shorts will become available on Thursday, June 6.
Without a doubt, the most anticipated happening of this year’s conference will be the Nalip and Sundance Institute screening of Richard Montoya’s debut feature film, Water & Power at the AMC CityWalk. The impact and influence of this Chicano icon will be evident by the droves of fans, tentacle network of familia and homies, a wide range of community activists, artists, politicians who will be in attendance and who might reflect the young and old blood of the characters he writes. I listed W&P as number one in my top five movies to watch out for in 2013 so I’m thrilled to see it screen this way. Richard Peña will moderate a Q&A with Montoya after the screening. I couldn’t think of a better filmmaker and moderator pairing.
On Saturday at the Awards Gala, Machete Kills star Danny Trejo, the menacing but actually sweet hood actor will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Aurora Guerrero, filmmaker of Mosquita y Mari will be honored with the Estela Award that comes with a $7500 grant from McDonalds. And in what will surely be an emotionally inspiring moment, the first ever La Lupe Award will be bestowed to Gina Rodriguez. Her effervescence completely evokes the spitfire tenacity of the late great Lupe Ontiveros. I couldn’t think of a more perfect homage and passing of the torch.
While I found last year’s panel topics all over the place, this year it feels more targeted and practical. Panels like Beyond The Latino Market: Getting Your Film Out To A Wider Audience with Gabriel Reyes, Writing on Latino Cinema (a panel LatinoBuzz, Latin Heat and yours truly will be participating on!), Whatever It Takes: Diy Technology and the Democratization of Content Creation, and Entertainment Industry Writer Development Programs, all feature legit, intrepid filmmakers and industry sharing resources.
On Sunday the Closing Plenary will be Latinos and Media Stereotypes in which Natalia Almada, Richard Montoya, Aurora Guerrero, Yancey Arias will be participating, moderated by Mandalit del Barco of NPR. These are all highly experienced opinionated individuals with distinct tastes so I expect this one to be one of the livelier talks. Overall, this year’s Nalip conference feels like a live one and just about to go off.
Nalip 2013 Spotlight on the Trillion Dollar Latino Market will take place June 7-9 at the Universal Sheraton Hotel.
For a full list of speakers and panels here available at http://conference2013.nalip.org/conference/keynotes-speakers/
**Update** Maria Agui Carter will replace Aurora Guerrero as participant on the Latino Stereotypes panel.

After buzzing off half of her hair last week, Amanda Bynes again took aim at those who put her name in headlines.
On Friday, the "All That" star lashed out at Complex, tweeting, "I’m hating the ugly people that work at @complexmag magazine for writing incorrect articles about me. Joe, Noah, Ernest, you ugly!"
As if that didn't convey the message well enough, the 27-year-old actress expounded, saying, "@ComplexMag you're ugly writers, I don't want to be in your lame ass magazine thanks! So stop writing about me! I just read an article saying I'm having a break down on twitter. I tweet like every person on the face of the earth. I'm not making empty threats on twitter. Everything I say will come true for me. I don't need your advice thanks!"
Going on to boast about her finances, she added, "Are any of you multi-millionaires? I highly doubt it!

Sorry, guys, but them's the facts: Amanda Bynes is a glorious, beautiful creature who also has millions of dollars. And don't you forget it.Amanda took the time to remind us all of that on Twitter yesterday when she got into some sort of fight with "Complex" magazine (please remember that an Amanda Bynes fight consists of Amanda Bynes tweeting threats of lawsuits and negative remarks on her opponent's physical appearance). Here's her first tweet:i'm hating the ugly people that work at @complexmag magazine for writing incorrect articles about me. Joe, Noah, Ernest, you ugly! And that was pretty tame, considering that right after that, she just went for it:@ComplexMag you're ugly writers, I don't want to be in your lame a-- magazine thanks! When Season 4 of "Cougar Town" began airing on its new home, TBS, Jules Cobb was in the first week of wedded bliss with Grayson, whom she sweetly wed in Season 3, the last season to air on original network ABC. The stakes for the character had reached a low point, which is saying something considering this show's kept it relatively low-stakes since the day it premiered. And it wasn't until midway through the 15-episode season that the writers introduced the new great worry in Jules' life: the health of her father, Chick.
Forcing Jules, and the rest of the Cul-de-Sac Crew, to acknowledge their own mortality and the mortality of those they hold dear gave the characters something serious to consider, as opposed to when they'd next pound some grape. That's not to say that "Cougar Town" became a telenovela overnight, but there was something present in each scene -- a sharpened focus in each interaction.

Elena and Rebekah, having embarked on their Tour For the Cure, arrive in some sleepy town having ditched Damon's convertible for a serious upgrade. Who'd they have to kill to get that? No seriously, who did they have to kill?
They've hit that stage in every road trip where they're both on each others' last nerve. Elena refuses to drive one more mile until she gets someone to eat. She spots a random townie getting into her car and zoops up to her. She vamps out right there in broad daylight but before she can sink her fangs in the townie exclaims, “Katherine, what are you doing?” Townie understands that most folks are fine with being fed on from the neck but she prefers it from the wrist.

Okay, so here's a movie pitch for you: Take a group of mismatched friends, send them out for an evening of drunken revelry and then watch the hilarity ensue when they try to figure out just what the heck they did. Guaranteed hit, right?
But we're not describing the plot of "The Hangover" — we're actually describing the plot of the upcoming teen comedy "21 and Over," which is basically exactly like "The Hangover" except, you know, with college students in it.
"21 and Over" is hardly the first film to blantly remake another movie, book or play for a teenage crowd; it's actually a longstanding tradition in Hollywood. So in honor of "21 and Over's" brazen replication, here's a closer look at it and six other films like it.
1. "Easy A:" We love 2010's "Easy A," mostly because it's the film that turned Emma Stone into the superstar she was always meant to be.

Degrassi is not a show that has ever shied away from controversial or intense topics, so it’s hardly surprising that they went there this week. And, being seasoned with these kinds of storylines, it’s also not surprising they handled it so well. But handling it well doesn’t make it easy to watch, so I doubt I was the only one who discovered barely two minutes into the episode that someone must have hidden an onion somewhere in the vicinity of my computer…
The episode starts on a fairly light-hearted note, with Eli apologizing to Clare for snooping in her diary, an apology so successful, in fact, that she announces she’s now ready to "take the next step" with Eli. "Bittersweet Symphony" is, in its most popular form, a well-known punk alternative wonder from popular 90s band The Verve, sweeping strings cascading against lyrics vetting the harrowing inability to fit into the world. The band's biggest hit by far, a Grammy-nominated success highly regarded as one of the best alt songs ever made, definitive of the era and an awfully brilliant declaration of the choking hopelessness of simply wanting to be more. "You keep the station safe, you keep the code safe. Whatever it takes."
Here's the first trailer for a cool looking thriller called The Numbers Station, which stars John Cusack and Malin Akerman. The story for the film follows a former black ops agent and the young woman he's assigned to protect and together they fight for survival after a surprise attack. Cusack usually picks really good projects that I enjoy, so I trust this one will be worth checking out. Here's the synopsis!
After his latest mission goes disastrously wrong, veteran CIA black ops agent Emerson Kent is given one last chance to prove he still has what it takes to do his job. His new assignment: guarding Katherine, a code operator at a top-secret remote CIA "Numbers Station" where encrypted messages are sent and received. "You keep the station safe, you keep the code safe. Whatever it takes." Well, here's an nice generic thriller for the spring. In what looks like it could have been a role for Nicolas Cage, this time John Cusack steps back into contemporary thriller territory in this first trailer for The Numbers Station. Teaming up with Malin Akerman (who worked with Cage in Stolen), Cusack is a CIA black ops agent tasked with guarding a code operator, an integral part of how the CIA does business by way of encrypted messages at the titular locations. But of course, a team of bad guys complicates things and they must defend themselves. Watch? While Rob is away filming in Australia,he and Kristen are taking a break from their relationship. HollywoodLife.com Editor-in-Chief Bonnie Fuller thinks he’s leading poor Kristen on, while Managing Editor Bill Earl thinks it’s time Kristen takes the hint and walks away! What do you think?
When Robert Pattinson left the U.S. for Australia to shoot his new film, The Rover, he proposed a trial separation to girlfriend Kristen Stewart. As we’ve reported, Kristen, 22, agreed, begrudgingly, because she’s hopeful it will bring the two closer together — possibly even to the altar! Sadly, another source tells us that Rob, 26, views this as the start of his exit strategy. HollywoodLife.com‘s Editor-in-Chief Bonnie Fuller and Managing Editor Bill Earl debate whether this separation spells the end for our favorite couple.

A solid day of work from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Tuesday, as the organization announced its short list of potential Best Original Song nominees at the 85th annual Academy Awards. Of course, "short list" is a relative term: 75 songs are eligible for a nomination despite the fact that only five will make the final cut. So! Which five songs should get nominated? Ahead a dream list of possible nominees that will never happen since "Suddenly" from "Les Miserables" and one of those songs from "Brave" will probably take up 40 percent of the list.

Chicago – Kathryn Bigelow opens her stunning “Zero Dark Thirty” with a date and a series of voice mail recordings. The date is, of course, September 11, 2001 and the recordings are the ghosts of the people who died that day, perfectly setting the stakes for the story to come – the hunt for and capture of Osama Bin Laden. Over the next two-and-a-half hours, the Oscar-winning director and the screenwriter she worked with on “The Hurt Locker,” Mark Boal, methodically chronicle the twists and turns of the last decade in the life of the most infamous terrorist in the world. They brilliantly weave in the elements we know (or think we do) like waterboarding, Abu Ghraib, Richard Reid, and the Marriott bombing with information that will be new to most viewers and they place one stunning actress right in the middle of it all as Jessica Chastain serves as our fascinating guide through this CIA procedural.

Sean Stone Talks Greystone Park, on Blu-ray and DVD October 16th
Anyone who listens to Alex Jones knows that Sean Stone is a very interesting and outspoken individual. He started acting in his dad Oliver Stone's films at a very young age, and has since grown into a prolific documentarian, director and writer who makes his fictional feature debut with Greystone Park, on Blu-ray and DVD today, October 16th.
While Greystone Park is a scripted thriller based on a true story, quite a few of the scares we see on screen came from actual events that took place during the shooting of this found footage hybrid. Sean not only writes and directs, but he also stars as himself, one of three filmmakers who set out to investigate the real life Greystone Park, an abandoned insane asylum located in New Jersey.

Every once in a while, a band will come on to the music scene and become a huge success in a short amount of time. One of those bands is Digital Summer, an aggressive modern rock group out of Phoenix, Arizona. The band has had a string of tours recently with the likes of Sevendust, Disturbed, Godsmack and Alice In Chains - just to name a few. Four of the band's singles, "Whatever It Takes," "Disconnect," "Just Run," and "Hostage," are being played regularly on major radio stations across the country. Along with all of this, one of the main things that I find most impressive about Digital Summer are the band member's interesting backgrounds. Vocalist Kyle Winterstein is a firefighter and paramedic. His brother, Ian Winterstein, is not only the guitarist for the group but is also a paramedic. The bassist, Anthony Hernandez, is currently getting his business degree in marketing.

I know most of you have plans, but it's time to change them. On May 1, 2015, Marvel and Disney will release The Avengers 2. I guess the only question now is whether or not it will be shot in IMAX 3D at 48 frames per second, though many are already speculating on the film's potential subtitle from The Infinity Gauntlet to The Revenge of Thanos. Man, the mind reels at the possibilities. Meanwhile, a logline for the other Marvel superhero team-up, Guardians of the Galaxy, has arrived telling us the film with a crime-fighting talking raccoon will center on a U.S. pilot who ends up in space in the middle of a universal conflict and goes on the run with futuristic ex-cons who have something everyone wants. I bet that "something" is cookies, because everyone wants cookies. [It's on the Grid] On top of the release date announcement for The Avengers 2, several other films...

With the news that Willie Hantz, the younger brother of Survivor villain Russell Hantz, will join the cast of Big Brother this season, the birth of a new reality villain dynasty is upon us. Not only is Willie (pictured, right) the spitting image of his brother, but he is shaping his persona within his brother’s mold. He told Zap2It, “I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win half a million dollars. Whatever it takes. "My strategy is I just want there to be as much drama and chaos, but I don't want it to be on my part. But I'm not going to be mean," says Hantz. "I just want it to be where I can cause it but they don't know what's going on. And I'm going to try to keep as many of the crazy people in the house as I can possibly can for the longest amount of time, 'cause the more that goes on, the more it's off me."
Willie also tells us that he's willing to do anything to win the money, including use his charms...

James Franco and Amanda Seyfried have taken their on-screen romance off-screen, reports the New York Daily News.
In "Lovelace," one of the two upcoming movies about infamous porn star Linda Lovelace, Franco plays Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, while Seyfried takes on the role of Lovelace -- and the Nydn reports the flirtation hasn't ended now that filming has wrapped.
On Saturday, photographers spotted Franco trying to make a quiet exit from Seyfried's home, which is timely since sources say she recently ended things with actor Josh Hartnett, whom she was dating while filming "Lovelace."
A source close to Franco told the Nydn that the 34-year-old actor is "pursuing" Seyfried, but added that the new relationship is "not serious."
Before dating Hartnett, Seyfried ended things with real estate broker Justin Huchel (she also dated real estate executive Andrew Joblon last year). After dating a couple civilians, the "Gone" star is back to dating actors,...

If there's one thing we know about Jason Bourne and his fellow secret agents it's that they are survivors. Whatever it takes to survive, they'll do. Kill a guy with a pen? Travel from country to country under a series of assumed identities? Drive a car backwards down the interstate? Done, done and done.
So it should be no surprise that according to Deadline, Universal has just announced that they are moving "The Bourne Legacy" from August 3 to August 10 in order to avoid being steamrolled by "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Total Recall."
Hey, the film may not have Matt Damon, but it clearly still has those survival instincts going full bore.
Of course, it's more than possible for two hit movies to co-exist peacefully at the box office; just two weeks ago, for instance, "Madagascar 3' and "Prometheus" both opened on the same day to big time numbers.

Experimental film-maker whose Diy spirit led to a huge output of videos, poetry and art
The fiercely original film-maker, poet and artist Jeff Keen, who has died aged 88, defied categorisation. He produced a vast body of paintings, drawings, sculpture and punchy Beat poetry, but is best known for his films, which incorporated collage, animation, found footage and live action – often all in one work. Keen used highly innovative techniques of superimposition and editing, and frequently etched and degraded the film surface. Works such as Marvo Movie (1967), Rayday Film (1968-75) and Mad Love (1972-78) were shot with his friends and family either at home, on the streets of Brighton or at the local tip; their fantastical, Diy countercultural qualities evoked the spirit of Andy Warhol's Factory and the early cinema pioneers of Brighton, where Keen lived. Despite making his first film in his late 30s, he completed more than 70 films and videos throughout his life.

Well, Craig James' run for Senate hasn't exactly gone as planned; his main stumbling block turned out to be the fact that nobody knows who the fuck he is. Do obstacles like these deter Craig James from pursuing success? No, of course not. Craig James will do whatever it takes to make it on this crazy journey called life, even if it means running a PR campaign to get a college football coach fired for refusing to give your son playing time. Whatever it takes.
Not winning a Senate seat doesn't phase Craig James, because Washington is corrupt and filled with liberal, tofu-eating, gay-marrying, ObamaCaring, fiscally irresponsible, tattooed, Girls-watching, rock-n-roll-loving, gun-hating dickheads who don't know jack shit about America. But Craig James still needs his voice heard. That's why, as CBSSports reports, he's available for television commentary! Again!
What's more, his versatility makes him invaluable for the boob tube.

Chicago – Director Mark Andrews is a part of the one of the most important creative brain trusts of the last twenty years — the men and women at Pixar. He was one of the story supervisors for Brad Bird’s “The Incredibles” and took over the directorial reins from Brenda Chapman on this week’s “Brave.” He sat down with Producer Katherine Sarafian to discuss his new film, a Scottish fable about a headstrong young woman named Princess Merida (Kelly Macdonald) and the problems she faces when she asks a witch (Julie Walters) to change her mom (Emma Thompson). I’ve been lucky enough to speak a number of Pixar pioneers and they are all engaging, passionate people — just what you’d expect from such a landmark studio.
