Sergio Gobbi's films were never exciting ones.His attempt at a Boileau-Narcejac's detective story "Maldonne" was far from what Clouzot and Hitchcock did with these writers' previous works."Les Intrus" is more thriller than murder mystery though.
Aznavour plays a surgeon ,coming back from a Mediterranean cruise with wife (Marie-Christine Barrault) and child .He 's resting in his desirable villa.Enter two villains:one of them is called M.Personne .(="Nobody";subtle,huh?)They demand one hundred million francs or else they will kill the brat.
When it was theatrically released ,many people complained about the paucity of ideas in the screenplay.They were not wrong.
