Very very nice movie. Glorious sets, and very nice special effects too, considering we are back in the begin 70's with no cgi and computers at disposal.There's a scene where Prahlad's mother's heads taken off , head and body lying separately, effects are primitive but very effective and the rich sets around, help the total cause. All the players play the Gods and DEmiGods with flair and enthusiasm. Very enjoyable to watch and if you want to get in touch with the roots and culture and do not have time and resources to go through written 'shaastras' and stuff ,this film will definitely brush up the religion and cultural basics.

Brilliant movie. This film is about Sri Vishnu and his devotee Prahlada.It shows how lord comes himself to protect his devotees.It shows what true devotion is.Today's youth needs to see it and learn from it.It is full of Sri Vishnu's praise and his avatars.Highly recommended.I still remember watching it as a child and having a great time with myself.Watch it and you will know his(god's) essence.Great film!
