There's something about a British historical mini-series that makes you feel you've time traveled, and the past is alive again. The actors play their parts so well, with no overacting or trying too hard to sound authentic; it just seems to come naturally to them.
Celia bannerman and Louis Fiander were perfect as Elizabeth and Darcy, and Vivian Pickles was made for the role of Mrs. Bennett, as was Lucy Fleming as Lydia. In fact, the entire cast was wonderful, and watching this series is almost as good as reading the novel! A few things were changed here and there, but so much the better, as it gives some individuality to it, rather than copying every detail.
I've seen several movies and series of "Pride and Prejudice", and this one ranks in the Top Three!

oh my gosh! i fell in love with this film the first time i saw it. i love the chemistry between elizabeth and mr. darcy. I love the way they kept their emotions so secretive to each other and in the end they get a happy ending. swallow your pride and prejudice and find love.
