Five years is an eternity in pop. In 2016, This Is Acting, anchored by the moody party hit “Cheap Thrills,” cemented Sia’s status as a pop star. But in the time since, she’s seemed uncertain of her next step, and her moves were hesitant and tentative. There was a Christmas album, a collaboration with Diplo and the British rapper Labirinth as a group called LSD, and a string of singles that mostly went nowhere commercially, four of which surface on the soundtrack to the film that preoccupied Sia for much of that interim.

An official trailer has arrived online for a Japanese anime version of Batman, set during the Sengoku era, re-imagining Batman as the "Batman Ninja". And oh yes, it's as badass as it sounds, if not even better. Batman Ninja is directed by filmmaker Junpei Mizusaki, and is about Batman defending a town in feudal Japan. This is officially licensed by DC (hence the Warner Bros logo) and is actually the real Batman, not some imitation version to skirt around licensing. Since there has only been one Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer released thus far, debuting at Star Wars Celebration back n April, fans are looking wherever they can for any new details about this highly-anticipated sequel. Just a few days ago, the first wave of merchandise was revealed during Force Friday II, and now, thanks to a comprehensive report, we have details on all of the lines of dialogue that is said by several characters in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, according to these toys. Still, don't expect there to be any spoilers located within.

Force Friday 2017 is just around the corner and that means all of this year's new Star Wars toys are getting ready to officially hit shelves. That also means we are going to learn some things about Star Wars: The Last Jedi, even if Disney and Lucasfilm are doing their best to keep everything under wraps. At the very least, they'd prefer the toys not be revealed until Force Friday, which is taking place on September 1 this year. However, some of the upcoming toys have made their way online and they reveal some potential dialogue from Star Wars: The Last Jedi for Kyle Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke.

Fan site Star Wars News Net got ahold of some TV spots and photos that show off some of the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi toys. Probably the most significant is the Force Link Band, which will play dialogue for characters when placed near the figures.

American Horror Story Season 6 Episode 7 featured scare after non-stop scare. And gore. Plenty of gore.

It's as though the Ahs writers somehow caught a sneak-peak of The Walking Dead Season 7 Premiere and were like, "Nah, we can top that goriness."

I can safely say that "Chapter 7" will go down as one of my favorite installments of American Horror Story ever. It was legitimately unsettling and just plain creepy, on so many different levels.

The Mvp (so to speak) of the hour was undoubtedly Kathy Bates' Agnes. I can't speak highly enough of how unsettling it was to watch Agnes talking to herself, slipping from her Butcher accent/persona into flashes of her "real"/normal self. Give her all the awards for this performance, Asap.

The T-800 is back, literally, in the first trailer for "Terminator Genisys."

Proving that a franchise that has spawned four movies and a TV series is unstoppable (kind of like a body builder-turned-actor-turned-governor), cyborgs, Skynet and the Connors are set to return in the 2015 movie, which is being billed as a reboot due to that crafty time-traveling those cyborgs and people from the future are capable of!

The first full trailer for Terminator: Genisys has been released, and overall I think it looks awesome. There are a couple parts where I had "Oh, brother" moments, like when they once again reused the line, "Come with me if you want to live." I know they want to harken back to previous films when they do stuff like that, but no one will ever deliver it as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger did. It is fun seeing these characters back in action though, and I love that we have another liquid metal Terminator in the mix. The CG version of Arnold looked a lot better than what we saw in Terminator: Salvation. Then there's Emilia Clarke, who portrays Sarah Connor as a freakin' badass, which is great to see. "Hello Sam, I've been waiting for you." Gulp! Death is back and ready for his date with Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) when Supernatural returns for its ninth season on Tuesday, Oct. 8. In the first promo for Supernatural Season 9, we see Dean concerned over the state of his brother, expressing shock to a doctor who claims Sam's life is in "God's hands." We then see Death himself confronting the revived Winchester sibling with an eerie warning: I've been waiting for you.

Might this be the secret Supernatural spoilers have hinted Dean will be keeping from Sam? And what about all those angels who have fallen back to Earth? How will they come into play on the opener?

Oh, Calder! What are you doing?

It would be easy to look at Calder Michaels and hate him for interfering in what Annie and Auggie are trying to do. And his actions become even more of a threat if he is working for or with Henry Wilcox. But ... is that the correct assessment of Calder? Is it a fair interpretation of what he is doing?

I tend not to believe that. It's understandable for viewers, myself included, to side with Annie and Auggie in their mission. They are doing what they think is right against the evil that is Henry Wilcox. And, so far their investigation has more than shown that Henry is up to no good and that he's responsible for plenty of innocent deaths. We know that because we've been let in on their secret and off-the-book mission.

Calder's not in the know. Instead, he sees two agents...

The upcoming "Covert Affairs" episode, "I've Been Waiting for You," brings changes to the CIA and those on its fringes. Get a sneak peek at what those changes might be in this exclusive video from the episode.

In the video, Calder (Hill Harper) confronts Joan (Kari Matchett) about Annie's association with Teo (Manolo Cardona). He is -- understandably -- a little concerned that Annie (Piper Perabo) is meeting with dangerous terrorists and then not mentioning it to the CIA. While we in the audience know there's more to it than that, it is totally fair that Calder has issues.

After the heartbreaking conclusion of last week's "Covert Affairs," which saw Annie (Piper Perabo) and Auggie (Christopher Gorham) end their relationship, things will go from bad to worse for our heroes.

This Tuesday's episode, titled "I've Been Waiting For You," sees Calder Michaels (Hill Harper) go on the offensive, while Annie and Teo (Manolo Cardona) take a huge risk in their quest to defeat Henry (Gregory Itzin). In the above clip, Annie and Teo discuss their complicated relationships with Auggie and Arthur (Peter Gallagher) while hiding out in a motel room.

The hope is M83's new song "Oblivion" from the film "Oblivion" will have you out of your seat. And then probably back in your seat, because standing up in a movie theater is rude. However, this electro-ballad is likely to play over the end credits, so get your coat: the generic "I've been waiting for you / waiting for a sign / (something something)" lyrics don't do much for singer Susanne Sundfør's pretty, hearty voice, and the climax feels like all-artifice, less gentle and subtle than M83's Anthony Gonzalez' usual hand on the beats. Director Colin Tilley promised that the video for Chris Brown and Justin Bieber's "Next 2 U" would be "big," and a leaked early cut of the video is just that.

The whole thing plays out like a movie, complete with dialogue, drama, lots of action, and of course, singing and dancing. It opens with Brown and his love interest dancing, kissing and joking around with one another. Justin Bieber is then seen hugging and kissing his girlfriend and telling her, "I've been waiting for you all day," before presenting her with a necklace. Things get dark when the pair are caught together by her dad, who then takes her away.

"I told you not to see him again," he tells his daughter. Bieber's story is intercut with Brown's.

The Believers (1987) Favorite occult themed horror movie? Hmmmm...... odly enough TV movies come to mind right away - The Initiation of Sarah, I've Been Waiting For You and Satan's School for Girls. I've Been Waiting For You is never able to fully shake off that feeling of being a made for TV horror movie, but it cleverly uses everything at its disposal to help build suspense. This includes the costuming of the killer which is quite effective and memorable. The film's use of dark shadowy hallways, entrances and big old gothic houses is certainly spooky. Sequences that play up to the supernatural and other worldly create a sense of panic and disorientation. Cat and mouse sequences between the killer and his potential victims helps to craft a sense of terror. Not one,...
