Ouch

I saw this movie with my roommates and a couple other friends. It hurts to think that someone paid to make this movie when there are starving people in the world. My friend described it perfectly: "It's like a porno, only without the sex."

the corniest wanna-be film ever

This is the worst movie ever. I paid 50 cents to rent it for 7 nights and I feel ripped off. What a waste of my life. There's no real, or decent plot. Nobody can act worth poop and the "hot girls" are nasty. Rap fans and gangsta wanna-be's might enjoy this though...

No story, not acting, no movie...

This wasn't a movie, it's more like they set up a camera on people just talking. Nothing happens and it's IQ of 80 people talking like gutter trash. This movie is incredible, I am amazed people pay money to produce such a movie. I've seen a lot of bad movies and most of the time I wonder why people would act in such a movie or pay to produce it. In this movie the actors really fit in because they can't act and there isn't a storyline so it doesn't matter. I saw this little horror with a few friends and we really tried giving it 20 minutes before turning it off but it was horrible. It's indeed a pron movie without the sex. It leaves you with wanting a real movie. Please do not watch this movie ! (I don't understand why they made a sequel).

HORRIBLE

Give me a break!

The movie is useless. However, having seen the movie, the rave reviews I see here are a laugh out loud hoot! Maybe the movie is not a total loss as it provides the background to enjoy the well written reviews from those guys with their tongues superglued in their cheeks. On the dark side, if the high recommendations were genuine (probably not) they appear to be a despicable scam to entice some poor souls to endure a double whammy; loss of funds in renting or buying this movie, and possibly never recovering from the catatonic state which they will enter anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 of the way through watching it.

One nude scene, not particularly memorable, could not save this turkey.

garbage in, garbage out

This is not a movie. I don't know how to classify a flick like this. There is no acting, no directing, no plot. Nothing.

I work in a video rental shop, so I did not waste any money. I did waste valuable time however. A mistake you don't have to make.

A college football player turning pro, his ex-girlfriend, his best friend and another girl from campus go to Daytona for the Black Spring Break. 2 sports-agents and some wicked girls all try to get some piece of the pie.

Then nothing happens for 90 minutes except for some of the worst acting and dialogue you have ever seen. What's worse, is that it is not even funny.

You are warned.

Whatta Movie

This movie is the funniest movie I've ever seen. Not because the content was funny, but the cheesiness and cheapness along with the typical sterotypes from a normal "black comedy" movie make this movie hysterical. From the rented Mustang to the secretaries keyboard, from washing paper plates to the dorky white guy, from unclearly spoken dialogue to Kenny Flyy (2 Y's read the credits IMDb) rap career this movie is a classic. Make sure you watch with friends so you can share the laughter!

Not since Citizen Kane has the film world witnessed such brilliance...

My life changed around April of this year. My friends and I were looking for something to do, so we rented a film that we never heard of. A film that was destined to take its place among the great movies of all time. That movie was, of course, Black Spring Break. From the fantastic lead acting of Daron Fordham and Kenny Flyy to the outstanding supporting work of Vince Caruso (as the nerdy white agent), this is a classic from beginning to end.

Brilliantly scripted by Fordham ("Southboy" himself!), this film is full of great scenes: Kenny Flyy's monologue about "b-----s," the woes of the left-behind friend, the bizarre security guard whose appearance was never explained, Vinny the agent's phone calls to his venomous wife, Southboy confronting Rayneesha on the beach about sleeping with Terry Miller, Vinny wearing a dress, the scheming of the villainous Crooklyn, and Vinny's last name changing in the last scene for no reason at all. Truly, this is an experience that is not to be missed. Watch it from beginning to end; nothing will prepare you for the shocking finale. Rent it immediately!

who got snaps on tha petrol?

the most daring true-to-life drama to hit the scene since "black belt jones", this movie hits you hard, and leaves you yearning to come back for more. it is the archetypal battle of good vs. evil, in a heartwrenching rollercoaster ride of emotion that takes your breath away as the plot twists and turns through a seemingly endless webwork of deception and villainy. this is a must see for any young person coming of age in this crazy world today... a definite winner.

Classic

I just got done watching this movie and I was touched. I challenge anyone on the planet to find a movie more compelling and moving then Black Spring Break. The acting duo of Kenny Flyy and Daron "Southboy" Fordham might as well go down in history as the most comical and genuine teams in the history of movie. I strongly suggest buying the DVD to see the behind the scenes action that made this movie a true masterpiece of film and art. It's a shame that the academy missed this treasure chest.
