Not up the the good old «classics» but still worth a peek or two. In the «summary», I mention this string of has beens of the... huh, «artsy» skin flicks, just to remind those who knew them that they appeared in such good oldies as (I know the titles seem «too obnoxious» to be true): «The crippled Poney (Phoney) Tony», «You won't make it to 70 mph», and the «classic» «The Ignorant Envious Cain Brother (who got his just rewards in bed)». All European movies -- many of which were still available here, in dubbed versions, some 20 years ago. Very well dubbed, I should ad. As an aged nostalgic person might say (*): «Where are to-day all those pioneering stars of adult movies ? -- They don't make them as they used to !» (big wink) -- (*) Who I am NOT... yet!

The movie has almost NO PLOT but they do make sure that you get to see enough skin for regular skin flick. I guess if you enjoy such movies then this is definitely the winner, I don't think it'll make a good Blockbuster night movie !!!

A model is murdered with a nylon. A former police officer, now with a PI license, goes undercover as a model to try and catch the killer. So yeah, not the world's most original plot. But we're not here for the plot, are we?

"Sheer Passion" features plenty of scenes where good-looking women cavort around for the camera and plenty of sex scenes as well, as you would expect from this Mystique Films production.

However, perhaps the most impressive part of the entire movie is Clayton Norcross' moustache. What a beauty!

There are films that tell a story-and then there are films that burn. Sheer Passion is one of the latter: a taut, emotionally charged exploration of how raw desire-whether for success, love, or recognition-can fuel greatness and lead to ruin. Equal parts sensual and psychological, this is a film that doesn't flinch from the extremes of human ambition. It doesn't just show passion; it inhabits it.

At the center of Sheer Passion is Maya Deneuve, a young and fiercely ambitious artist or athlete, dancer, etc., depending on genre with an all-consuming drive to reach the top. Played with blistering intensity by Maya is magnetic: unpredictable, brilliant, and unafraid of crossing boundaries to get what she wants. She is not a likable heroine, but she is a deeply compelling one-flawed, human, and utterly relentless.
