Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran lead the pack of 2015 MTV Video Music Awards nominations, with 10, six and five nods each, respectively. The former's summer hit "Bad Blood" (featuring another top nominee, Kendrick Lamar) and stylish vid "Blank Space -- both off of her best-selling 2014 album "1989" -- racked up noms in categories from Video Of The Year to Best Collaboration to professional category honors. Other nominees in the top Video Of The Year spot including Beyonce, Sheeran, Lamar and Mark Ronson with Bruno Mars. The VMAs take place on Aug. 30, with host Miley Cyrus. Fewer than 24 hours after Miley Cyrus revealed herself to be the host of this year’s show (Aug. 30, 9/8c), MTV has rolled out the full list of 2015 MTV Video Music Award nominees — and you’ll never guess who’s leading the pack.

Just kidding, you’d totally guess: It’s Taylor Swift, whose nine nominations are split between her “Bad Blood” and “Blank Space” videos. Ed Sheeran‘s the second most decorated nominee with six nods for “Thinking Out Loud” and “Don’t.” And then there’s Beyoncé; her five nominations, all for “7/11,” put her in third.

Here's the Full List of 2015 MTV Vma Nominations
The nominees for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards were announced Tuesday, and the slate features lots of familiar faces as well as new sensations.

Superstar Taylor Swift led the pack with a whopping nine nominations, thanks to her "1989" singles "Blank Space" and "Bad Blood." English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran scored the second-most nods, with six.

Miley Cyrus is hosting this year's festivities, which means Vma fans are in for a wild night. (As if there was any other choice for the reliably-crazy annual awards show.)

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards are scheduled for Sunday, August 30 at 9 p.m. Check out the full list of nominees -- including the mainstream awards as well as technical categories -- below.

Veteran film and TV actor Penne Hackforth-Jones passes away
Actor Penne Hackforth-Jones, a pillar of Australian films and TV for more than 40 years, died in Melbourne on Friday from lung cancer, aged 63.

Her illness was diagnosed in 2012 but she wished to keep the diagnosis private while her father was still alive. She relocated to Melbourne in 2011 to be close to and care for her elderly parents both of whom died recently.

.Penne responded to her own terminal diagnosis with great courage and grace,. said her sisters Jos Hackforth-Jones, Simary Hackforth-Jones and Olivia McNally. .Her health deteriorated in April, but she was able to remain at home because of the wonderful support from her Gp, Mercy and Alfred Palliative care units and friends. Her last weeks were peaceful and happy. She died surrounded by flowers and cards from those closest to her and cared for by family and close friends.
