Featured review
After winning me over completely with Part One of his light-hearted Cinderella adaptation titled "Sinderella", Paul Thomas fritters away all the quality with this horrible finale, also titled (the DVD is so inscribed) as "Stepsister".
This video starts off with seven minutes of recap footage from Part One, followed by new material that lasts a mere 62 minutes. The wit of PT's script from Part One is completely absent, and all we get is a rushed series of sex scenes and wind-up to the overly familiar story.
Part Two proper opens with Evil Step-mommy (dearest) Britt Morgan and her two daughters arriving at the Prince's ball, with the court's gatekeeper played by Randy West demanding that they give up some sex before being admitted to the Prince. This sex eats up precious running time, though die-hard fans of Raquel Darian and P.J. Sparxx get their money's worth in humping, and the Prince shows up as Randy Spears, given almost zero dialog and just a chance to use his dick in what deteriorates into nearly wall-to-wall-sex format.
What happened to the cleverness and inventiveness PT demonstrated in Part One? Out the window, and the auteur even jettisons entirely the concept of the Glass Slipper left behind. All the prince finds is a dead rat an small pumpkin, remnants of the "over at 12am" magic wielded by Fairy Godmother Melanie Moore.
It's a shame, because Sinderella's entrance at the ball in the person of the late, great Savannah is a fabulous sight -she's looking mah-velous in a beautiful gown and jewels. That image is piratically all Part Two aka Stepsister has to offer.
The Prince recognizes her at once when visiting Britt's household, so even the dumb & vulgar substitution of the Prince setting out to f*ck every lady in the land to replicate the "fit", not of a slipper on one's foot but rather his dick in her pussy, is abandoned. It's a dull climax to a promising project.
