This color '67 exploitation flick is WAY down there. The plot line is stuck on with no real purpose. Some of the women are VERY strange-looking and the music is really terrible. Black and white is much better for this genre. Color seems pretty tacky for plotless films with various forms of nudity (too porno-esque).
A 2 out of 10 and I'm not even sure why I didn't give it a 1. They could have made this interesting in some way, but didn't really care. You really are taking a chance with this type of film, but sometimes you are surprised when you luck onto an AGONY OF LOVE or THE SADIST. Most people never see these flicks anyway.

I know not to expect much from a film when it has been produced by David Friedman. However, "The Brick Doll House" is terrible even by my lowered standards.
The film clocks in at under an hour but it struggles to fill up that short amount of time. It is supposed to be a murder mystery, but of course the movie is just an excuse to show topless women for almost fifty minutes straight. There's lots of dancing and partying and not much else.
I guess there was once a time when showing a lot of skin on the screen was the only characteristic needed of a film in order to make it interesting. Thankfully, that time has come and gone. 1/10

Gorgeous naked babes hanging around with their breasts exposed! But is that enough this time? This one's another loser presented by David F. Friedman, this time directed by Tony Martinez. If you like seeing hot naked women (which is the only reason I give this one star), this non-film is for you. It's just a flat-out skin flick which unsuccessfully tries to factor in a murder mystery involving a shot-to-death stripper amidst all the ample boobage on display. A real yawner, but at least it's only 55 minutes in length. Thank goodness for small favors.

Starts with a dead nude doll, then some wooden police ask a few stupid questions of her three flatmates who proceed to have cinematic flashbacks where they are putting clothes on and off and dancing.
Not boring, not interesting, not particularly sexy, but it has it's moments. There are some great wigs too and numerous colourful bras and pants. Oh, and suddenly, just before the final solution - a surprising spanking scene. Cool (ish) man!
DVD originates from US and disc also includes: 'Smell of Honey, Swallow of Brine' and 'Sweet Sickness' + loads of 'Something Weird' extras. So it's the package rather than the individual film that just about makes this worthwhile.
