Actually this is not a real movie . It's communist propaganda documentary ( like many other Romanian "movies" ) where you can see how a factory manager (actual senator Sergiu Nicolaescu )struggling to build a propeller(!) for some Romanian vessel .This "movie" is full of communist cliché and looks like it's inspired from Chinese propaganda films. I must say that acting it's not very bad ...because in real life, actors were big communists... so everything was very natural for them. Of course, nowadays - in real life - they are big democrats and experts in democracy . I believe they are just big chameleons ...and probably this old "movie" it's necessary to be seen just to understand how a communist can become a fanatic "democrat". After you see this "movie", you need to watch some old tapes with actors in real life , to realize the "transformation" they suffer.
My favorite -stupid- scene: Somebody was calling the Airport to ask if 5 tons propeller from Japan arrived - with a commercial flight. How can you fit a 5tons propeller in a commercial plane? Ask Communist Party, for Comrades everything was possible. And even if you can, nobody knew anything until the plane was landing? Probably that propeller was mailed by Japanese in an envelope and they where looking for it in the cargo. Stupid.

This movie is the usual same old. Same old fauna of bad actors with good connections. The same old story of painting the communism as flawed, but filled with saints. Flawed it was - nothing was available in a regime by the people for the people and with the people in prison. Same old popular heroes. Taking from the rich and giving to the poor. The only twist from the old church laws: the rich are simply corrupt communists.
Sergiu Nicolaescu is an experienced propagandist, probably Nicolae Ceausescu's favorite. So there is no trace of the Communist Party activity in such a place of corruption. Only workers. There is also no church, but church morals are everywhere. Another story for the believers.
