Under the thumb of the Italian armed forces in occupied, early-1942 Rhodes, the courageous lieutenant of the Greek Royal Navy, Aris Galanos, embarks on a life-or-death espionage mission. Determined to dice with death to extract vital information about the highly classified strategic defence of Rhodes and the entire island chain of the Dodecanese, brave Aris poses as the Italian officer, Giovanni Rezzini: the esteemed, yet unwelcome guest of the island's most prominent businessman, Panagis Roditis.
