If you were Slovak, you would not probably understand everything - the movie uses the dialect coming from that country part. We can't indeed say what the genre of the movie is. The tragic moments are always colored with comedy, and we can claim the same conversely. The life of main protagonist had been changing since she slept with the well - digger. He left, she got pregnant and started bringing out a daughter. It 's not fun to have a child without a real husband in that social environment. The burden of past keeps following her in every moment, seems, wearing her out. The most of the movie was taken around the city Presov - in picturesque landscape , traditional village typical for that era and all this fact serves as a unique sight within past life. Well, as much as you wanna enjoy it. Life that seems to be simple isn't automatically truly simple.
