"Sve je isto u mom kraju, samo mene vise nema"

I didn't like this movie at all and, to me, it was quite a boring experience. But since it is generally accepted as a masterpiece of domestic cinema, I suppose it is more to me than to film, so I'm probably not competent to analyze it. Also, I have no desire to waste time writing about something that is completely uninteresting to me.

    P.s.

Bad critics often think that by harshly tearing down the work of others, they can establish themselves as serious or profound. However, this approach not only distorts their own humanity but also diminishes the value of their critiques. In their pursuit of influence, they forget that true insight comes from a place of understanding, empathy, and a balanced perspective, not from negativity or a desire to appear superior.

    Masterpiece

This is a great movie. See why the dead can't find peace, because of us the alive. It is hard to see greatness of this film if you don't understand Serbian. Movie starts when professor Misa find the one thing what he was searching all his life-the passage. Soon after, he dies. The dead in their world, are one by one disappointed by things that happened in the world of a living. And when the professor Misa who died recently find out what is happening in the world of a living by his pupil who committed suicide after Misa's death, he find the passage similar to one on earth. The dead go on a journey to correct the things.

    Amazing

@Bored_dragon , I do not agree at all. People who only seek enjoyment in watching a film are the people who dont care about the art at all. This movie is vary heavy and represent the circle of death and life in a perfect way contributing to Serbian beliefs. Its about the soul not having peace and bring able to move on because of the troubles the living still give. Such and odd thing to say that the movie was boring. This one of THE best pieces of Serbian cinematography of the 19th century. Absolutely loved every part of it , the comedy mixed with tragedy. The actors, the clothing , the set. Wonderful.
