The Film was made mostly in San Martin de los Andes (Province of Neuquén, Argentina). The scenes in a ski resort are real (Cerro Chapelco) and one of the lifts (double chair) is still in use 38 years later.
Last film by director Armando Bo, who died in 1981. It wasn't released until 1984. His wife and star of 25 of his movies, actress Isabel Sarli, didn't act again until 1996. She said his death affected her so much she wanted nothing to do with the industry. Then, in August of 1992, she had a brain hemorrhage and required surgery. Feeling like she had been given a second chance, she decided to start acting again in 1995 and started in Last film by director Armando Bo, who died in 1981. It wasn't released until 1984.
