That is followed up by the docuseries Children of the Underground on Aug. 13, Little Demon on Aug. 26, and The Patient of Aug. 30. The most interesting of the bunch,...

Barack Obama Reveals the Movies, Shows, and Books that Made 2019 "a Little Brighter" For Him
The year is wrapping up, which means Barack Obama is sharing his annual "Best of" lists. On Dec. 28, he kicked off the yearly tradition by posting his favorite books of 2019. He then followed up with a list of his best-loved films and TV shows, as well as favorite songs from the past 12 months.

"While each of us has plenty that keeps us busy - work and family life, social and volunteer commitments - outlets like literature and art can enhance our day-to-day experiences," he captioned the collection of novels. "Here are the books that made the last year a little brighter for me." Considering his impeccable taste in literature, it should come as no surprise that the former Us president included some real page-turners in his list. Between Sally Rooney's gripping new coming-of-age novel, Normal People, and NBA star Andre Iguodala's memoir, The Sixth Man, there's a recommendation for everyone.

Kadeem Hardison Joins Showtime’s ‘Black Monday’ (Exclusive)
Kadeem Hardison at an event for Campus show (1987)
Kadeem Hardison, who starred as Dwayne Wayne on the classic sitcom “A Different World,” has been cast in Showtime’s upcoming comedy series “Black Monday.” Hardison will recur as Spencer, a neurosurgeon and husband to Dawn (Regina Hall), one of the series’ central characters.

“Black Monday,” which was co-created by David Caspe (“Happy Endings”) and Jordan Cahan (“My Best Friend’s Girl”), tells the story of Oct. 19, 1987, the day of the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street. Although the cause of the crash has remained unknown, “Black Monday” re-imagines history with its own version of events involving an outside group crashing the market themselves.

Hardison is known for his work on “A Different World” as well as his roles in several other television shows including “Love Is__,” “K.C. Undercover,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Girlfriends,” “House,” “Abby” and “Between Brothers.” His film credits include “The Sixth Man,” “White Men Can’t Jump,...

Will Bo Dallas Join The Wyatt Family To Take Down Sting At WWE SummerSlam 2015?
WWE.com

The original plans for Sting at SummerSlam was for him to team with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose against the reunited Wyatt Family trio of Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. That’s not going to happen now because Rowan’s out of action for several months due to a torn biceps.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the six man tag is likely going to happen with somebody replacing Rowan.

There’s a lot of speculation about who the partner of the Wyatt Family will be with the obvious name being Bo Dallas just because he’s the real life brother of Bray. The problem with that is that WWE may not want to change Dallas because he’s got his own gimmick already. The other side of it is that his comedy heel gimmick isn’t really going to get him that far, so a change could be good for him.

Watch James Avery Talk About Voicing Shredder in the Ninja Turtles Cartoon
Greg Berg, Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, Barry Gordon, Rob Paulsen, and Hal Rayle in Les tortues ninjas (1987)
As pop-culture obsessives and children of the 1990s mourn the passing of James Avery, aka Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, it's important to remember that Avery was the soul of another iconic '90s character. He was the voice of Shredder on the animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, and we can never, ever forget that. Avery should have won The Sixth Man award for '80s television (an award we just made up). He guested on a wide swath of the decade's most iconic TV shows, including Webster, The Dukes of Hazzard, St. Elsewhere, Moonlighting, L.A. Law,...

TNT's King & Maxwell: Could It Be a Page-Turner?
Larry King
TNT’s ever-robust summertime slate continued to unspool on Monday night with the premiere King & Maxwell, a drama inspired by a series of David Baldacci novels. But will the TV version prove to be a page-turner?

Ratings | Falling Skies Returns Steady

The light drama stars Jon Tenney (The Closer) and Rebecca Romijn (Ugly Betty) as the titular Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, former Secret Service agents who now work as private eyes after setbacks in their previous jobs (in the form of an assassination and a kidnapping, respectively).

In the series opener (which was loosely based on Baldacci’s The Sixth Man...

Jon Tenney of TNT's 'King & Maxwell': It's good to be the King
Clearly, TNT loves Jon Tenney.

And the feeling is mutual, since the actor has worked for the cable network for the better part of the past decade. After his long run as FBI Special Agent Fritz Howard -- longtime friend and eventual husband of Kyra Sedgwick's Brenda Leigh Johnson on "The Closer," a role he's occasionally reprised on the spinoff "Major Crimes" -- Tenney launches a new TNT crime drama as "King & Maxwell" premieres Monday (June 10).

He and Rebecca Romijn play Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, former Secret Service agents now partnered as private detectives. The characters originated in best sellers by David Baldacci ("Absolute Power"), and they're odd-couple opposites: He's more refined while she's the street-wise one.

Michael O'Keefe ("Caddyshack") and Chris Butler co-star as FBI operatives in the show that includes Shane Brennan ("NCIS," "NCIS: Los Angeles") among its executive producers.

The friendly Tenney says his conversations...

Marlon Wayans -- Steve Nash is Too Old And Busted to Save the Lakers
Marlon Wayans pissed all over Lakers fans celebrating the Steve Nash pickup by declaring the former league Mvp will be nothing more than an elderly cheerleader for the purple and gold.Just a few hours after Nash -- aka 'Messiah 2.0' -- signed his deal with the Lakers, Wayans summed up the trade for the 38-year-old point guard by saying, "Steve Nash is a dead man. He's getting back massages at half court ... getting ice packs on.

Marlon Wayans - Nash is Old
Marlon Wayans probably did himself a lot of bad by opening his mouth. He was just spotted saying something about the new Lakers player, Steve Nash.

Fans are definitely celebrating with the new addition to the team. However, Marlon just said that Nash would be nothing more than an old cheerleader for the team.

This all happened just a few hours after Nash was officially taken into the team. He just recently signed his contract.

Looks like Marlon chose the wrong fans to piss off. Steve Nash is definitely not as bad as his movie, The Sixth Man; which nobody probably even remembers today.

Richard Pryor Biopic Begins Shooting in the Fall
The long talked about Richard Pryor biopic, tentatively titled Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said?, begins shooting in the fall with Marlon Wayans tackling the gigantic (and possibly future Oscar-nominated) role. Originally, Eddie Murphy was supposed to play Pryor, but in October of last year, he was taken out and replaced with Wayans [1], best known for the first two Scary Movie films as well as the offensively horrible White Chicks. According to Mark Gordon, one of the producers of the film (others include Chris Rock and Jennifer Lee Pryor, Richard's widow), Eddie Murphy brought along too much baggage to the role, which pretty much amounts to audiences not being able to disconnect from the Murphy they know in order to buy him as Richard Pryor. Marlon Wayans is an interesting choice though, and a casting announcement I missed so this came as a surprise to me. I cannot...
