Despite Poor Reviews and Box Office Run, This Angelina Jolie Rom-Com Is Now a Hit Online 23 Years Later
Image
Angelina Jolie is mostly known as a highly profitable action star, especially for her run in the early 2000s. Even at the height of her stardom, her projects were plagued with poor reviews.

Her 2002 rom-com Life or Something Like It was no exception. Even though it premiered three years after her Oscar for 1999's Girl, Interrupted, and in the midst of her Tomb Raider fame, the rom-com was a major critical and commercial failure. However, many projects get an afterlife on streaming, and Tudum reports Jolie's Life or Something Like It was a major hit on Netflix following its debut on streaming.

For the week between Apr. 14 and 20, Life or Something Like It debuted in third place in the global charts. The rom-com received encouraging numbers, with 5.5 million views and 9.6 million hours viewed.

Life or Something Like It debuted in the Top 10 in 24 countries across South and North America,...

Geoffrey Mac’s ‘Project Runway’ Designs, Ranked Worst to Best
Geoffrey Mac
At first it was hard to know how big a contender Geoffrey Mac really was on “Project Runway.” He was flustered while shopping for fabrics from the very first challenge, and in the space of his first two weeks he went from the judges’ runner-up to the judges’ bottom two. But after that topsy-turvy start he proved his mettle time and again, and from what we’ve seen of him he also seems to be one of the kindest contenders in the workroom. But how does his work on the runway measure up? Scroll down to see all of his looks, ranked from worst to best and updating throughout the season.

Despite frequently second-guessing himself, his futuristic jumpsuit was one of the judges’ favorite looks in “Blast Off.” And despite his misstep the very next week in the “Cats of the Urban Jungle” streetwear challenge, he has actually been one...

Slater's Mother Makes Movie About New York 'Home Of The Stars'
Christian Slater's producer mother is making a movie about a New York apartment block that has been home to stars like Alicia Keys, Angela Lansbury and Larry David.

The trio all lived at Manhattan Plaza, a government-subsidised building for performing artists in the city's Hell's Kitchen neighbourhood.

Mary Jo Slater, who lived there from 1977 to 1986, has gathered together famous former residents - and actor Samuel L. Jackson who once worked as a security guard in the block - to help her make The Miracle on 42nd Street.

The documentary is due for release later in 2008.
