In 1998, ABC News combined 20/20 (1978), with Primetime Live (1989) to compete with Dateline (1992) which aired four days a week, then. The newest programs were titled "20/20 Monday", "20/20 Wednesday", "20/20 Friday", "20/20 Sunday", and 20/20 Downtown (1999). (So there would be a program, would televise daily through out the seven day week. In 2000, ABC News returned 20/20 (1978) and Primetime Live (1989) to their previous hours. ABC kept its newest creation, 20/20 Downtown (1999), as a spin-off, of 20/20 (1978).
