No One Could Protect Her (1996)

Trivia

No One Could Protect Her

Edit
Based on the true story of Allentown serial rapist Harvey Miguel Robinson.
Jessica gives the date of the killing of Ellen Murphy as "August the First last year, which was a Sunday". The closest year before the making of this film (1996) in which the 1st of August was a Sunday, given this was inspired by a true story, and thus would not be set in the future, was1993, making the year in question 1994. The truth is, as noted above, this was based upon the true story of the Allentown, Pennsylvania serial rapist Harvey Miguel Robinson (1974 - ), whose crimes were actually committed in 1992-1993. In 1994 he was tried, found guilty, and sentenced to death, and is currently still on death row - if they ever get round to it. The names of the victims in this movie have been changed, along with some of the details. The shootout with Jessica being used for bait did really occur, but her real name is Denise Sam-Cali.
Also in 1996, Kerns and Lauria appeared together as husband wife in "Terror in the Family."
