Antonella Sudassasi’s Substance Films has signed a co-production agreement with Catalonian production company Playlab Films for Manrique Cortés Castro’s directorial debut “Monsters.”

The film, a drama about the complex traumas a man believed to have long buried in his past, marks another collaboration between Substance Films partners Sudassasi and Castro, with the latter having produced the former’s breakout film, “Memories of a Burning Body.” “Monsters” has also secured El Fauno and Ibermedia’s development funds as it gears up to go into production early 2027.

Recently, Bloober Team announced that they will be remaking the original Silent Hill 1 game that came out in the year 1999. While the players are excited to play as Harry Mason once again, the OGs are hyped for something else, perhaps a secret? Well, don’t worry, I won’t keep it a secret. On Friday, Oct. 18, New York-based label Enjoy the Ride Records will release expanded editions of Harold Faltermeyer’s music for “Top Gun” and Hans Zimmer’s for “Days of Thunder,” each on double 140 gram LPs. Following their release in 2023 on a limited-edition CD, both albums will feature the complete original cues from their respective films along with demos or alternate takes.

Only one cue from Faltermeyer’s music for “Top Gun” appeared on the soundtrack originally released in 1986. A special expanded edition released in 1999 added one more, the instrumental “Memories.” Listed below is the track list that will appear on the LP:
