Cameron Diaz's Comeback Movie Lands On Netflix's Elite Most-Viewed Charts 3 Months After Its Release
The new Cameron Diaz movie has become a global streaming sensation. The American actor became an A-list star off the back of prominent romantic comedies from the late 1990s, including My Best Friend's Wedding (in which she played Julia Roberts' romantic rival) and There's Something About Mary (in which she played the title role opposite Ben Stiller). She has also taken on major projects in other genres, including starring in 2000's Charlie's Angels and its 2003 sequel Full Throttle, as well as voicing Princess Fiona in DreamWorks' animated Shrek franchise.
However, for a full decade between 2014 and 2024, she starred in no movies at all. Cameron Diaz retired from acting, with her final project until 2025 being the 2014 remake of Annie starring Quvenzhané Wallis and Jamie Foxx. She spent that decade focusing on her family, working to "reclaim" her life, and working in the wellness space, including launching an organic wine brand and publishing The Longevity Book.

With all the awards attention thatDemi Moore has been receiving for The Substance, people have been looking back on her most iconic roles. Whule the first to come to mind for many will be the likes of Ghost and Indecent Proposal, you shouldn’t forget that one time she got to play a campy supervillain in the 2003 sequel, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. The spy sequel's over-the-top energy makes it feel like a live-action cartoon while toning down the hyper-sexualized male gaze from the first film and giving more power to its main trio, along with a different Big Bad for them to face. You don’t bring in Demi Moore to be a henchman, she is a badass “Fallen Angel” who raises some hell. However, there is an unlikely connection between this 2000s spy movie and her 2024 Oscar-nominated horror film. Moore became aware of impossible beauty standards because of Full Throttle,...

Demi Moore is reflecting on her bikini seen ’round the world 20 years later.
The actress starred in 2003 sequel film “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” and recalled the discussion surrounding her so-called age-defying appearance at the time.
“What’s interesting is I felt [criticism] more when I hit my 40s. I had done ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ and there was a lot of conversation around this scene in a bikini, and it was all very heightened, a lot of talk about how I looked,” Moore told Interview magazine while in discussion with Michelle Yeoh. “And then I found that there didn’t seem to be a place for me. I didn’t feel like I didn’t belong. It’s more like I felt that feeling of, I’m not 20, I’m not 30, but I wasn’t yet what they perceived as a mother.”

Tubi, the free advertising-supported streaming service owned by Fox Corp., is looking to bring its success formula to the U.K., launching in the market on Tuesday, July 2.
The streamer, led by CEO Anjali Sud, the former head of Vimeo, now has about 80 million monthly active users, the executive told The Hollywood Reporter. In the U.S., its strategy has differed from other Fast platforms. For example, 90 percent of viewing on Tubi is focused on on-demand movies and TV series, compared to peers’ focus on live, linear channels. And per the Nielsen Gauge from May, Tubi made up 1.8 percent of all TV viewing in the U.S. for that month, tied with Disney+.
“Tubi has spent the last decade honing our approach to vast, free and fun streaming in North America, and we feel that now is the perfect time to bring that recipe to U.K. audiences,” said Sud in unveiling the U.

The wait for “The Equalizer” Season 4 was extra-long, and especially brutal thanks to a life-or-death cliffhanger that left several key characters in danger. But, at last, the wait is over. Queen Latifah’s Robyn McCall returns to CBS this February, as a part of their Sunday night lineup.
Inspired by the 1980s spy series of the same name, which also has an ongoing film series adaptation starring Denzel Washington, “The Equalizer” follows Latifah’s McCall. Seemingly your average single mother raising teenage girl, McCall’s ordinary demeanor belies her highly-trained ex-CIA past, which she embraces to help those with nowhere else left to turn.

2000’s Charlie’s Angels and its 2003 sequel, Full Throttle, were huge hits at the box office so it was no surprise that there was a planned third (and fourth!) installment. Unfortunately for fans, that never came to be. But director McG is ready to see Charlie’s Angels become an official trilogy, whether he’s at the helm or not.
As per Deadline, McG said, “It would take a long discussion with those three wonderful performers, who I adore…I was very happy to see Elizabeth Banks take the helm and do what she did, which was fun,” referring to the 2019 Charlie’s Angels movie that Banks wrote and directed. “There always seems to be chatter about that. I’m very happy to discuss it with Drew and Cameron and Lucy, but at the same time, I’m very happy to pass the torch. I mean, I love the Tim Burton Batman movies,...
