This movie is brilliant. I am a big fan of mithun. Mithun and Juhi Chawala were brilliant. Mithun proved that he is the best actor in Bollywood. I like his performance very much.
Mithun played double role in this movie. Which was great.

Bapu's 'Paramaatma' is an under-rated gem from the early 1990's. A Brilliant film, that works big time. Mithun, who appears in dual roles, Excels by delivering one of his best performances.
'Paramaatma' Synopsis: A devout priest must face-off against his atheist/trouble-maker brother.
'Paramaatma' is thoroughly engaging & entertaining. The Screenplay works from start to end, the conflict between the Brothers, is intense & at the same time, highly emotional. Bapu's Direction is sensitive & note-worthy. Music by Bappi Lahiri is fabulous.
Performance-Wise: Mithun, A 3-Time National-Award-Winner, delivers one of his best performances in here. As the priest, he is childish & innocent, while as the atheist/trouble-maker brother, he is heroic & effective. Its a versatile performance that deserves immense praise. Juhi Chawla is charming. Amrish Puri plays the menace, most convincingly. Reema Lagoo is wonderful. Anjana Mumtaz lends grace to her part.
On the whole, 'Paramaatma' deserves a watch for its brilliant story & Mithun's central performance.
